USA Lab Equipment 5000mL / 5L Short Path Distillation Kit

Company doesn't know there product. Head broke due to flaw, company replaced with different head. Heating mantel is now having issues, it shows 340 degrees C and it gives a HHH error. The true temp is around 180 degrees C and this will not complete a fraction that requires 290 degrees C. I will now ask them to replace the mantel as it should not be failing. We will see how this goes.

I’ve had this short pass for over a month have not been able to get a run through it yet I’ve had nothing but problems with leaks tested tested every time have failed even breaking it down using grease everything necessary to stop any leaks still nothing but a problem

I bought one of these units and it doesn't work. The stirring mechanism isn't strong enough to spin the stirring bars strong enough in a heavy oil to do any work. It just stops spinning. It only spins in water. I took it to a electronics shop that has a look at it and said the design is flawed. Just wasted $1700 on it. Amazon won't take it back as I had to open it to find out it doesn't work. How else can you find out it doesn't work. LOL.
