These bags are thinner to the other bags I have purchased in the past. They are harder to seal because the zip lock is smaller. All in all they get the job done, but I prefer the sturdier bags.

Arrived as promised. Used them to hold and protect a family genealogy book that I had printed. The book fit snugly inside of the bag, then it fit snugly inside the Priority envelope they were shipped in. Very good for the use I had in mind.

The fact that the words "heavy duty" appear in the product description is laughable. I don't know if these bags are actually 2 mil or not, but they seem much thinner and weaker than other 2 mil bags I've used. Can't believe I paid $12.99 for these. I was planning to use them for storage of decorative shells and sand, but they are completely useless for this as they break open very easily.

These are great bags for protecting items from moisture when shipping. Great deal!
