Great aesthetic piece
This rail mounted on my mini14 pretty easily and looks good on there. My only gripe would be the small area that clamps onto the barrel. The clamp is only held on by two screws o the rear end and it would have been nice to see maybe 4 screws on there. It may be due to the geometry of the rifle or rail. Either way, this rail provides a nice low profile aesthetic that brings it closer to par with an AR's modularity. I haven't had an optic mounted on it to see if it'll stay zeroed yet but am optimistic. I chose this rail over the "Mini-Scout-Mount" mostly because of the aesthetic. I would recommend this product.

So Cool and my red dot works better out there
The directions made sense (kept me out of trouble) so it wasn't hard to install. Two of the screws were short for the clamp that is closer to the receiver (I easily found what I needed at a home whatever type store). I put my Burris Fast Fire III (3MOA) red dot out toward the end of the barrel. What a good choice. The gun is still pretty light weight compared to other 559 / 223 AR type guns. Out on the end it is so fast and easy to have 1" groups out to 100 yards. The gun range doesn't have anything beyond 100 yards but I am sure the red dot will do the job.

Very good except it gets hot fast
Great quality and fantastic upgrade. The only down side is that it heats up very fast while shooting. I think it was around 40 or 50 shots before it was very uncomfortable to touch which is why I didnt give it 5 stars

Worth It.
Didn't write a review originally as I wanted to get many rounds down before making any recommendations. This not only looks awesome but works as intended. Use it to attach a flashlight a red dot to my rifle. Once attached it stays on nicely.
