I'm pretty sure it's illegal to record someone without their consent so when you find out she's lying to you just leave and don't say anything.

The default audio format is WAV. I was unable to change it to MP3 via the MRECSET.TXT file. Also, unable to change the date and time of the device. It's still stuck in 2023. Finally, the audio that I was able to record was very scratchy. Good idea - bad execution.
