Although the product itself appears to be as claimed, and SLP-TRAY650 secondary tray is required to fit the oversize roll. The tray of course add $30 to the cost of the printer. All in all, it will work for me, but it would have been nice of the seller to point out that these will ONLY work if you spend the other $30 for the needed tray! Now I have to wait another 3 days (Prime 2 day shipping in my area a lot of times means 3 days) before I can try these out. My new Seiko 650 comes with some oversize labels that would probably only be good for a large name tag and useless for most other things like creating address labels so I had to wait three days for the printer to find out that the labels that came with it are useless, another three days to get these labels to find out that I need a $30 tray to make them work! So I will have a minimum of nine days wrapped up in ordering a new printer! So much for the "convenience" of Prime 2 day shipping! C'mon on Seiko, put on your thinking caps and add all the details in the description!

These labels are perfect for address labels for letters or packages. The high capacity means less frequent roll changes. Use with the  High Capacity Tray To Hold Larg Capacity Rolls Of Labels & Cards  sold on amazon.

This is my second order of 'Long Roll' labels and I love the idea. I bought the extra feeder with the printer 2-3 years ago and both have worked very well. The ONLY issue is getting the correct size label, including some backside coding. (Buying non-encoded labels from other than Amazon, Seiko, Avery, [Maco may - may not make the 1K long roll].) Un-coded labels will Not not feed through the SLP-650. In short, Know Your Vendor - and well before you buy. Saving $1.50 on a $25 buy, for a product that may not work, I NOT worth the trouble.Now... we'll see if Amazon honors their shipping commitment; they have been a bit lax in recent weeks and they have missed several dates. If I may add, the C.S. folks in So-Cal are extremely helpful and easy to reach. (One cannot say that about Amazon!) Purchase pending as soon as I can push the correct buttons.

I actually love this product. I would be lost without my Seiko Smart Label Printer 650 with the high capacity label roll. The biggest pain with these is changing the roll. If you go through labels quickly, as I do, then the high capacity roll is essential. However, sometimes you will get a defective roll where the labels will not release easily (or at all!) from the backing. So make your purchase using Amazon Prime so that you get free return shipping.
