Artisan Kettle Organic Chips, Bittersweet Chocolate, 10 Ounce (Pack of 6)

First let me say, I bought this primarily to make candy, but I've been eating them straight from the package. Secondly, they're nut free. Definitely a big deal if you have a nut allergy. I struggle to find foods (especially snacks and candy) without a "made in facility/on shared equipment that also processes tree nuts" label. Chocolate is always the biggest offender. I've had to resort to making most sweets myself but certain things I've had to do without because I couldn't find a decent substitute. Now I won't have to struggle with looking for cocoa butter that isn't processed with nuts to make my own white chocolate. I'm looking forward to making my own candy and desserts..if I can stop eating them as is!(Added plus: these chips are also organic, which I love because I have multiple chemical sensitivity and my son reacts badly to any artificial colorants/preservatives/flavorings etc.)

Delicious AND soy-free!! I've recently had to give up regular chocolate and have been searching for a good substitute. Carob is ok but lacking in that certain something so I decided to give white chocolate another chance. It's so hard to find white chocolate that doesn't contain soy (something else I must avoid now) and I've never been that crazy about it...until now. This brand has a rich cocoa butter taste that reminds me of chocolate and tastes divine! I love it in baking, pancakes, even right out of the bag. It's worth every penny.

I know that might sound weird but in today's customer service climate it amazes me and i am so grateful. it's summer, it's chocolate and it was sent in extremely well insulated (the heavy duty silver bubble stuff used as a radiant barrier in your attic or on your garage door) and a cold pack inside. while the cold pack was no longer cold none of the chocolate had melted and there is some pretty hot country between Lexington Kentucky and the California Coast. really, really impressive. thank you amazon fulfillment services in Lexington Kentucky! top marks! although amazon general, i remain confused by the repeated appearance of the completely inapplicable word "sheerness" in the rate features section. it does not apply to chocolate. nor did it apply to the air cleaner i reviewed a couple of days ago. as for this chocolate? outstanding as well. a bit of crystallization on outside of the chunks due to temperature fluctuation but no negative effect on the flavor which means Lexington's warehouse also has proper temperature management to maximize the quality of the products that amazon sends to our homes. again top marks Lexington Kentucky! very impressed. perfect size extra dark chocolate chunks for cookies. have also had their milk chocolate chips which are AMAZING as well.

Delicious white chocolate for a low oxelate diet! Many of the fancy organic white chocolates add cocoa content- that makes their products high in oxelates. This is wonderful stuff and doesn't cause me any issues! Love it!

After learning the truth about the bigger well-known brands, I began my search for real white chocolate chips. Honestly, Artisan Kettle's price made me leary but the reviews convinced me to give them a try and let me tell you... oh my goodness! I've never tasted a white chocolate chip that actually tasted like chocolate until that day. To make sure it wasn't just I that noticed the difference, I conducted a blind tasting with my family. We all agreed that Artisan Kettle white chocolate chips should not be compared to those packages containing lumps of lard and sugar made by the bigger brands. The actual chocolate taste will positively affect whatever it is used in. My customers noticed the difference and they were pleased.As far as the price, Artisan Kettle is well worth to cost.

All of the Artisan Kettle chocolate chips are good, but the semisweet are my favorite! We've officially made the switch in our house from other brands to these. Plus, they are a great deal on Amazon!We love baking cookies and brownies with these chips, but they are pretty awesome just eating them by the handful. Instead of a Dove square, I'll just have a few of these.

I think these chips are far better quality than most I have tried. I think this brand in general taste better than most others, which is why after trying their semisweet chips purchased at a local store, I wanted to try other chips in the brand and these did not disappoint. These are average size chips, not extra large or mini.

I bought these white chocolate chips because I loved the idea of getting organic chips. I was prepared for them to taste somewhat less sublime than major brand chips because organic chocolate often has a slightly rougher, less refined taste to it. But these were weird. Not a strong vanilla taste and not a cocoa butter taste either. Really terrible. I actually threw away the remaining bags. That's how terrible I thought they were.
