This electric heater seems to work well as expected and features a well-made and heavy-duty steel construction. This electric heater comes with a steel hanging bracket to suspend the heater from the ceiling and can be attached to the heater in one of 3 positions. The heater is simple and easy to install, and the bottom compartment is easily accessible by removing a single screw that keeps the compartment closed. The bottom compartment features 1/2" and 3/4" knockout holes on both sides and the back of the wire compartment and there is plenty of room in the bottom compartment for making the wire connections or for servicing the components if necessary in the future. This heater features Hi and Low heat settings as well as a fan-only setting. The heater can be operated by either the included remote or by the front panel. The front panel also displays the current temperature as well as the heat setting for the heater. After testing the heater, I found that the heater seems to work well and heats up quickly. The heater puts out plenty of heat for a small garage or workshop and would also work well in a medium garage or workshop if the garage or shop is insulated. The louvers on the front of the heater can by independently adjusted and allow the user to direct the heat downward to heat the area more evenly. The included remote control seems to work well and requires 2 AAA batteries. The remote-control is a nice feature that allows the user to quickly adjust the heater from across the shop without stepping away from their work. I especially appreciate that the heater can be controlled with the front panel in case the remote-control batteries are dead or the remote control stops working. My only complaint is that the fan does not seem to automatically shut off when the heating coils shut off and cool down, so it seems that the user must use the remote or front panel to manually turn the fan off. This is easy to control but is a minor inconvenience because it wastes electricity running the fan when the fan is not necessary. Overall, this electric heater seems to work well for the garage that it’s in and keeps the area nice and warm.

This is the perfect ceiling mount electric heater for a garage or small shop. Being 240 it should really help with the cost of running it compared to 120. I just hooked it up on the bench to make sure it worked and it really puts out the heat, once I get it installed I think it's going to be great. It has different settings and really moves the heat around with the forced air. It is a little loud but no more than others I have used in the past.

We got the ‘VENTISOL 7500W Electric Garage Heater 240V Digital Ceiling Mounted Shop Heater for Garage,with Timer, Remote Control, Hard-wired Installation “ model (not sure why it keeps bringing me to this model to review) but I did not realize it needed to be hardwired when I got it. We haven’t had the chance to get it installed as of yet (I will update as soon as we do!) but I can tell you this - this particular model came very well packed and protected. It looks solid and well made and I am looking forward to having it in the garage for working out. That being said and from what I saw of the directions, you need an electrician to install it (unless you really know what you’re doing). I just wanted to pop on and give the info that I could till this point. I was going to wait but saw a lot of reviews stating that theirs arrived broken (yellow model), so I thought I could at least get this crucial info out (on how well ours was protected for getting it to us). Will be back soon with the most important information asap - how well it works!

This is a very nice garage heater. I started with this heater in the smaller shedish type garage to get things cleaned up and I had to open the doors cause i got too hot then i moved this to the garage with the vehicles so I could clean. I had this on the floor as I didn't know where i wanted to mount it and it still warmed up the garage nicely while all the doors were closed. I finally did mount this and it works awesome, easy to use and easy to mount. Makes working out in the garage so much more comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. This little heater is just right for a small shop. I have several small buildings with 5000 watt heaters. They are all more substantial than this heater. They were also more expensive than this one which makes sense. The installation of the power cord was a breeze. Just take out the three screws from the lower front and the bottom swings open. Attach your wires and you are ready to hang it. The hanger is strong. It's meant to hang from the ceiling and allows 3 different downward angles. There are also adjustable louvers on the front to guide the output. The paint and finish is very good.The control switch makes it easy to select 3000, 4000 and 5000 watts. The knob in the middle is like a thermostat though it doesn't have temperature markings. There is not fan only setting and that's. part of the low rating. When the temperature in the room is reached the heating elements and fan turn off. The fan doesn't run while the elements cool down. That may lead to a shorter life. This is the only garage heater that I've had that didn't have the fan run while the heater cools. Added to that, the lighter case gets very hot. It gets even hotter after the fan is off and the elements heat the case. Properly mounted, the hot case should not be a problem. Just be aware that it will be hot.On the positive side, it's pretty quiet. The video has it on and me talking to give you and idea. And, of course, the price is very good. It's less than half the price of my next cheapest unit.
