This unique dragon and egg set would be the perfect holiday gift for any dragon lover. The dragon has a unique snowflake tail and the egg also has snowflakes on it. It is just as pictured and good quality. Me and my son are happy it is now a part of our collection.

I 3D print myself, but wanted to check out this design and filament color. The winter dragon is a pretty standard "articulated" or "flexi" dragon design. I have another egg like this that uses threads which self-aligns the colors and is much more secure. This uses a very small twist, and doesn't have much friction, so there's not a lot holding it closed. Also, the two halves were printed in the "open" position, so once it is closed, it's misaligned. You can also close it totally misaligned because you can rotate the top 180 degrees and close it. So the screw thread eggs are definitely better, but this seller could at least change their print orientation for the egg so it's closed.The print quality looks pretty standard, looking to be a .4mm nozzle at .2mm layer height. There are some strings that need to be cleaned off it (they look almost like spider web but it's a small "trail" of plastic from the printing process as the nozzle moves from one part to another).You should know, whether you buy this one, or another one that all shiny silk PLA is MUCH more brittle than regular PLA. I only know of one multicolor filament out there that isn't silk, which is by Cookie CAD, although I'm sure seller could find other makers. I would not get this for a younger child or one who is rough. The spine "loops" (kind of like a chain) are going to be somewhat breakable on this.Overall, if you love this design and want "silk" shiny colors, and won't be harsh with it, I can recommend it.

I'm not sure what to think about this glut of mass-produced 3D printed toys I see being sold online; on one hand it's a clever new business model and on the other it's something that can be made easily and cheaply with the right equipment (libraries often have 3D printers now so you don't even have to own one).That said, this is good (not great) quality, durable, and looks just as pictured, and kiddo has been bugging me for one. Considering I have neither the time nor wherewithal to figure out how to 3D print, I still believe this is a worthwhile purchase

Came broken :(

This makes a great gift for any dragon lover,but especially during the up coming holidays. At the time of review a few colors to choose from. They all look great. The tail of the dragon is shaped like a snow flake and the egg has snowflakes on it. The egg and dragon are both very sturdy. Good price point for this piece. The egg sits flat no rolling around or falling over. The egg doesn't screw together like some others I've reviewed but still stays on tight. No issues with it coming off. Overall great home or office display piece.

These 3D print dragons are great. You get the egg to keep it inside if desired or twist the top off and display both egg and dragon. The egg comes in a top and bottom piece decorated with snowflakes. Although it's plastic, it almost has a bit of a metallic sheen to it, especially in certain light. The two pieces of egg twist together to lock in place. The egg is hallow and that's where the dragon resides.The dragon has several small pieces attached together to create the entire body. The head is a larger piece along with the tail - it reminds me a lot of a pet lizard. There are some small detail on the body as well.You can get various dragons for your show piece if desired or buy one as a gift. Or just keep in a showcase as your "pet dragon" if you want.

I'm hoping my picture shows how shimmery this dragon is and you can see the antlers they created for him. There are snowflake scales all over him and he has a huge snowflake on the end of his tail. He shimmers all over not like glitter, but like pure shine like fresh snow. The color is just beautiful too. The pictures online don't do justice to the real thing!
