If you only have one set of impact allen wrenches, get this one - great length, strong tips!

CATEGORICAL GRADINGPresentation/Packaging: AQuality/Craftsmanship/Materials: APrice/Value/Worth: BFunctionality/Utility/Versatility: AInstructions/Ease-of-Use/Comfort: BMarketing vs Reality: B(Where “C” = Average)I wanted some long stemmed hex bits to help reached recessed allen heads. For impact devices, the allen wrenches need to have hardened tips to keep them from rounding off the first time a little torque is applied. I gave these try by tightening a few screw heads to ensure they will hold up. I was impressed wit the tip strength. I like the 4” length, the combination of SAE and metric wrenches, the embossing and magnetic extension. All-in-all, a very nice set of hex bit allen wrenches. Each hex shaft is embossed with the size of the magnetic tip. The magnet is strong enough to keep a screw in place, which really helps when accesssing spaces too narrow for use of your other hand to secure your screw. The set also includes a 2 inch hex extension which can be used with any hex drive attachment making the kit even more versatile. Case is functional but not optimal - still good for the price.*PRECISE RATING: 5RECOMMENDATION: I can recommend this set. It nicely compliments the 2 inch set I acquired earlier.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability or performance issues with additional use.)PHOTO INFO (photos are loaded in order, but may be rearranged when finally posted):1) Closed case2) Case contents3) Movie using 4 mm hex4) Tip of 4 mm hex after using with impact driverI hope you found something informative and useful in this review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. Good luck with your decision.*My rating scale:5 = definitely buy again, happy to have it (exceptional in several characteristics,)4 = probably buy again (decent job of doing what I need, excels in one or two characteristics)3 = perhaps buy again after researching options (functions OK, looks OK, decent quality, average life expectancy but no outstanding characteristics) (in other words, average)2 = would not buy again (low end/below average merchandise and/or service, but not totally worthless)1 = sorry I bought it the first time (poor performance in several characteristics, no redeeming characteristics)

Great idea! Nice set.
In the past, I've hacksawed Allen wrenches so I could chuck them into my drill/driver for repetitive and stubborn Allen screw insertion and removal. This set allows me to simply choose the right size bit and not have to cannibalize a typical "L" shaped driver. Great idea.

They work...but is the price right?
This is a nice set of hex/allen wrench bits for your drill/driver.It covers the majority of smaller sizes in both metric and imperial. The length of the bits is perfect, as I have a set of smaller bits (normal driver size about 3/4 inch) and they are not long enough in many situations. The included extension is a cheap one, but will do the job.The bits are held in a small rubber holder, and then both sets are contained in a clear plastic case. I wish the storage system was better, as the case is an odd size. Something more like a drill bit holder would be a good solution.I am not sure how well these will hold up to use, but they seem sturdy so far.My only gripe is the price at $30. However, I have not seen many alternatives, so this may be the price you have to pay for a tool like this.

Good assortments and length
This is a nice set of assorted Allen hex bit set; the set includes commonly use sizes and are all neatly contain inside a clear plastic case. What I love about it is that they are 4 inches long and are impact rated. I would still caution using too much force with the smaller size bits, do adjust the torque appropriately for your application or use a manual wrench with an adaptor. I also like that the set included a 2.3-inch extension socket that has a magnetic tip, and the bits are also magnetic as well. I am happy with this set, it is rugged and helps reach the tight small areas, it is a nice addition to my other Allen wrench sets.

They're 5 star hard...unless they're too hard!
This is a very nice set of both SAE and metric long reach 1/4-inch hex driver bits.I got these to fit a power driver into spaces a regular key may fit, but with no power driver. Also to go where a hex socket won't fit. They are nice. Well finished and made of pretty hard steel according to my skate test with a good metal file. The case they arrive in is pretty good, it has just a "living" hinge but that should be sufficient until it isn't (they tend to break after repeated use).Hardened steel bits can be tricky to get the sweet spot dialed in during manufacturing. Too soft and they yield, too hard and they snap off. Only time will tell if they are indeed dialed in to the correct hardness.Verdict:Recommended.I like them. Long reach 1/4-inch hex drivers are something I've wanted for a while so I'm glad I got them.

Good set of allen wrench drill bits
This is a nice set of sae and metric bits. I really got tired of using allen wrenches to put together furniture, etc. These are a nice length providing ease of use. At first glance they seem pricey, but the fact that you are getting essentially two sets (sae and metric) the price seems more reasonable.

are magnetic
These are magnetic, and I do not mean just the tip.. I put a small bar across the center of the bit, and it held in place right there.. So it is the whole thing that is magnetic, not just the tip..I have not used these on an impact gun yet, so no comment there.. But for normal use with a ratchet, no complaints there yet..The ends are well formed.. and yes, this is a thing.. I have gotten ones in the past from other brands that the ends were not formed right, and I had to grind down the tips a bit so that they would fit on the screws or bolts right..So far, no complaints.. I will update if I find anything worth noting as I get more use out of them..
