Chilton 26662 Ford Pick-Up & Bronco Repair Manual (1973-1979)

I have a 1978 Ford F250 so I bought this book to act as my bible. It does go through a decent amount of procedures and workflows, but I wish it had more diagrams and views of the components. I still recommend buying this over any of the other manuals out there if you have an old truck that matches.

This has been a great resource for me. I recently bought a 77 FORD and this has been a life saver when it comes to helping me find the right parts, etc for my specific year model. Also, I'm doing a little work to it and wanting to restore it some and this has allowed me to find everything from the exact teim paneling I need to decals, etc. This truck is special to me so I can't to keep it running and in good shape for many more years to come and this catalog allows me to find and order the exact parts for my specific year model instead of going to a parts store and hoping they pick the right part. No hassle, I know what I need so I can look it up and order it myself or go somewhere and tell them exactly what to order. If you're going to own an older truck and you want to keep it running and original then I highly recommend you get this and always have it handy! It's easy to use! Has the diagrams to break everything down and show you the name and part number of any parts or body decals, trim, etc you may need as well as all the little tiny pieces you'll need for installation.

not the same as the pic. I was hoping this would be one of the big Chilton books but I should have known by the weight. nothing wrong with it, but it's like the ones at the parts stores.

Had the original Chilton's that was passed down from my Father and was misplaced when I joined the Navy. Always a helpful reference for my 1976 F100 Stepside.

A good book overall but doesn't go into enough detail to give it 5 stars

Nice product

Plenty of info I guess.But I still like the old hard bound Chiltons of years ago when the diagrams & instructions were clear & precise.Thes newer soft cover editions look like something out of a newspaper.I guess it all has to do with the cost of printing techniques though.Good enough for what I need.I dont use them for any heavy duty rebuilding of engines.
