Top notch set
Love these pans... well robust and easy to clean... and I love cooking different meals with them (soups, sauces, veg, meats..), and enjoy using these more than my last (cheaper) set... so you really do get what you pay for! :-)

Stellar pans
What is there to say about Stellar. Excellent. Value for money. Just what I wanted.

Stellar pan set
Pros - Soft handles and great lids for straining.Cons - Food can get stuck in lids against glass, particularly rice, which takes a bit of removing.

Great company, great product
Fabulous pans that work very efficiently on my induction hob. I made a mistake on my order but they quickly helped me correct it with no fuss and a refund for an overpayment if made.

Tested over many years and fabulous
I've used these saucepans daily for nearly ten years now and can vouch for their quality.Heat dissipation is very good at the base, not so much to the wall, and the lids especially are well designed, being toughened glass and with a vent, so they don't steam up to the point that you can't see what is going on. They also have the pouring spout which doubles as a vent when rotating the lid to the perforated area of the lid rim, because the spout recess reaches beneath the rim, which is a wonderfully useful feature. This also serves for straining. The lid rim is also very deep, which means the lid seals very well and you can slam them around very heavily in that final rush when plating for 12 people with no fear that the lids will slide off and break on the floor. I've never had a lid fly off. I’ve not found any other saucepan brand with a lid rim as deep and secure as this and it is a great design feature. They pour very well too.You can tell that I know these pans inside out.I am moving up the Le Creuset saucepans (at vast expense) because they are tri-ply, have helper handles and no rubber on the handles of the pan or lid, so are transferrable to the oven, but otherwise I have found no shortcoming with these at all. These are not triple-ply, but that hasn't been an issue for ten years, but I want that now. It means they are lighter than triple-ply, but less rigid, and the heat transfer up the wall isn’t like a tri-ply, but then these are not tri-ply price, which cost three times what these are. Nearly ten years later and they still look as good as new, and even the measurement scales inside are still there. One got slightly bent out of a true circle once, but I carefully eased it back with no sign that it ever happened. I can't even tell which pan it was.Very good value and superb. At this price point also check out the range from ProCook, their triple-ply Professional and Elite range, but they either don't have glass lids or they miss having the venting, which may be a factor for you, but the tri-ply robustness and heat transfer to the wall may be worth the extra money. These are good enough, but I just wish these didn't have rubber on the handles and so could go into the oven.I've used these heavily as I cook every day from fresh and they show no sign of wear at all. The silly non-stick frying pan got ditched when the Teflon fell off, but then all non-stick surfaces are a waste of time anyway. I wouldn't buy the set with the frying pan unless it was non-Teflon.If you have used tri-ply, then these will feel like a poor cousin in comparison. You get what you pay for. But I really can't fault these pans at all for the price, and they are good enough for any serious cook, and you’ll never find a better designed lid anywhere.
