Easy to put together. Looks good

We have this console table for our television and gaming systems. That is a little overrun with stuff. I got this media stand so I can organize things a little bit better. I felt like building it was quite easy, even though the instructions were a little hard to understand. I was able to set it up within an hour maybe an hour and a half. My whole family loves it and it makes it a lot easier to organize video games,records and DVD cases and keep cables away from curious pets.

Maybe if I was using this to store a very small collection of records and cds I’d like the layout of this media stand. But I actually got it for a different type of media- print media. I ordered it to be a printer stand.First of all, you can not assemble it with the tools provided. I needed to get my husbands power tools to attach the wood to the metal. I used a hex tip. That worked fine. The provided hex tool did not provide sufficient torque to dig into the wood when turning it by hand.I noticed the drawer did not have any support under it, so I moved it to the bottom shelf. I put the middle shelf where the drawer went. This provided better storage space for our printer and reams of extra paper.I did not use the small set of shelves that attach on the right side. They were too small for general storage, and too specialized for our needs.You can see a photo of the finished product. I’ll add a photo later (if I can) to show the printer on it.PS: Watch out for step 8 in the assembly instructions! It involves doing like 9 different things in one step and using multiple screw types. It’s overly complicated and not consistent with the step-by-step instructions.

This little stand did not take up much room and fit nicely in my small apartment. I use it for my gaming stuff. It was easy to set up. Easy to lift and easy to relocate. Its build strong and its worth the price.

Media storage? - yeah, no - I'm claiming it for craft storage ;-)It took my handy honey about 1 hour to put this together, you don't need additional tools and he appreciated the extra screws/hardware items.I appreciate the sturdiness and various levels of this storage shelf - make organizing my rather chaotic craft area a breeze.The fabric-like drawer can hold a surprising amount of weight/stuff and the bottom shelf has an expanded metal-like shelf with a "railing" around it to secure heavier objects.The overall quality is high, the wood-looking shelves are some of the best I've seen and you can "park" this anywhere because it just looks nice.
