I needed to downsize my emergency backpack because I have aged and needed a lighter one to carry. I have been arranging everything in this lightweight bag and it holds a LOT! I couldn’t fit my sleeping bag in it but I can fit the Marino Wool cocoon in it with no problem.I am very happy with it. I ordered hiking sticks in case I would actually need to do some walking because I use a cane in my old age when I go out for any length of time and knew I would need a little extra help so I will not be a burden on anyone else. This makes me feel very well prepared and independent. I recommended it to my sisters and the grandkids. They are as excited about it as I am.It is very sturdy but very light! I didn’t need to get a whistle because it has one built into the front strap. It has reflective tape so you can be seen at night. It has a place for wet items like your microfiber towel or bathing suit. They thought of everything. It has a pouch connected to store it away if you just want to take it as an extra on vacation. I fill it with my drink packets and medication and a few dollars and put it inside where I can find it easily because it is attached. There are two places on the strap where you can hook your phone or keys or anything with a lanyard for easy access.

Very helpful during our recent trip to Scotland.My wife and I travelled from the US with one large rolling suitcase (mostly empty to bring back souvenirs) and two carry-on rollers for our two week holiday, but we needed something packable that could be used for our day-to-day walkabouts.This turned out almost perfectly. It held our two raincoats (in a quasi designated area in the main pocket), an umbrella on either side (in the mesh pockets and under a strap), a zip hoodie, 2 - 32oz water bottles, several other smaller items (sunglasses, ball cap, sunscreen, power banks, etc.) and still had a fair amount of room for when we purchased souvenirs, whisky’s and foods. I carried it every day.There was definite wear after a few days, but I wasn’t necessarily gentle with it. I don’t know how long it was meant to last, but it held up very well for us - especially for the low price point and packability. Of the things we brought with us, this was honestly the winner as far as utility items. I would have loved an actual supportive pack, but I didn’t want to waste space. This thing could fit in a cup holder when it’s all packed up.

I was hesitant purchasing this backpack as I couldn’t imagine a full size backpack fitting into this compact size. And I also doubted the quality and durability. But, happily my hesitations were unjustified! Not only does this open to a full size backpack but I was able to out A LOT of items into it when using it including a decent amount of weight without the straps looking like they would tear. And, added bonus, unlike many compact items that never fit back in their cute carry bags I was able to fit without too much difficulty back into the carry bag and store for the next time.

10 day trip and it's as good as new.This held everything I needed with no added weight.

This backpack exceeded my expectations! It was packed light & perfect and then opened up to hold much more than I expected. I had a pair of boots plus another pair of shoes, a jacket, two thick scarves, make up bag and more. I just kept finding side pockets and extra compartments to stuff. It was great, I highly recommend this item. I took it on hikes and everywhere while on vacation in Alaska. It was great on the back or across the shoulder, totally comfortable. Great product, I give it five stars 👍
