Very sturdy

I wanted to try an adjustable stem on my road bike and at the going price what could I loose? Instant relief on the back of my 70 year old neck! I would not use this on a mountain bike though. The top clamp that goes over the bars is quite thin and there is a slight bit of play at the joint that adjusts the height even when the bolts are made up tight. If your just road riding its not a problem

I really do like this bike stem, because it is adjustable, and it really does help with my back pain when riding my bike, I like it, because I can position the bikes stem to the fullest upright position, which allows me not to have to bend over as far to reach the handlebars, which takes the stress off my lower back, it is definitely made out of quality materials easy to adjust and easy to install. I highly recommend this product for anybody looking to adjust the height of their handlebars.

I'm not commuting by bike at the moment, but if things go my way, I should be next spring. Haven't had a chance to put it on yet, but this is a way to give my mountain bike a more neutral riding posture (and make it more discreet. I plan on putting cruddy forks on as well) while I wait for the winter mess to be washed off the roads and get the road bike out. It feels of good quality at the moment, nice, tight, rigid, and I believe it will stay that way in the long term. Just, use thread locker and don't eyeball torque ratings.

This stem is of great quality and has enough reach and adjustment to allow me to be much more comfortable while riding. I'm very happy with it.Holds tight too. My last one slipped too easily.

I ordered this to use on an adult racing kick scooter to enable me to raise the handlebars when I want to train and spare my back from leaning over so much. In this regard, it worked pretty well. I was trying to save weight, but it is heavier than I expected in part because it is solid aluminum through the heart of the stem for strength (is my guess). it is ok though because I got it also to allow me to install a new carbon fiber handlebar and the combined package of the new stem and the much lighter bars, still turned out to save some weight and add so much adjustability to the whole setup. All of the tolerance are spot on and it fit perfectly. Now all I have to do to raise the bars for training is loosen an allan screw and move the bars up to my liking.

I'm using this on my ancheer gladiator e bike. It was a perfect fit. Very easy to install. It also seems to hold the handlebars really well. The only two things I didn't like was how heavy it is and the three different sized allen keys it takes to install it. It does seem to be really well built and should last a good long time. It was just enough to raise up my handlebars to alleviate some stress on my wrists. I really enjoy riding now thanks to the adjustable stem.
