Great resource
We just learned our daughter has scoliosis so I bought this book as an additional tool to equip her with treatment options. The book is an excellent overview of scoliosis as a condition and contains comprehensive instructions for the exercises contained therein. We're still learning where this journey will lead us, but this book is going to be gold for us. I also bought the DVD which will serve as a companion to the book.

Almost as good as a hands-on class with Elise and DL
This spiral-bound book is full of clear instructions accompanied by photographs. It is a wonderful companion for someone who is looking to ease the pain of their scoliosis, strengthen their back, and experience the healing and the joy of yoga. Highly recommended.I have been in workshops with Elise and DL and this will serve as my reminder and guide until I see them again!

LOOKS VERY GOOD
I have just started reading this book. I wish I would have had this YEARS ago. However, I do believe it will help me even now. Great find. Who knew?

Helps to know basic anatomy
Comprehensive but it helps to understand the curvature of your spine to do the poses correctly. It uses more props than I expected. Good illustrations of the poses.

The absolutely BEST book ever for everyone who has scoliosis
The absolutely BEST book ever for everyone who has scoliosis! I have wanted this all my life! It's easy to follow without all the medical jargon and actually helpful. This was really missing from the market out there. Please recommend this book to all sufferers, patients, doctors, physiotherapists etc....Everyone should read this book in order to help people of all ages and types of scoliosis. Unique!!

Excellent book if you have scoliosis or want to help others with scoliosis.
Great book, excellent quality materials. Wonderful tool to have if you are a yoga teacher or if you have scoliosis.

If you have scoliosis or work with students who do, this book is a necessity
As a yoga instructor who has scoliosis myself, this book was eye-opening for me. It totally changed the way I practice, as well as the way I cue in class for engagement and making space in the body. I have an S curve with spinal rotation; after working through some of the exercises in this book, I now know how to mindfully engage in foundational poses to lengthen and de-rotate my spine. As a result, I am feeling less back pain and stiffness even outside of class.

A balanced, approahable guide
Well organized with clear text, information, and photos. Covers different approaches for different types of scoliosis curve patterns. Highly recommended.
