Let me get this out there up front: This is the kinkiest Western style superhero story I've ever read. How could it be otherwise when it includes a villain organisation called "BLOWJOB", a hero support organisation called NUDE, and an unaffiliated villain called "Honey the Hugger" who's specialty is mummifying people who dis Clara (the eponymous daughter)?Having said that, the characters are all well developed, likable or hissable (as applicable), and the plot is pacy, dramatic and funny. In fact the ultimate recommendations are I think that V1 sold me V2 and V3, and it knew to not outstay its welcome since there will only be 3 volumes rather than dragging on and on and on and... like, say, 1_000 Piece has.

Good premise ruined by unnecessary sexualisation
I was really excited to get into this promising sounding manga - a teenage superhero who idolises her superhero mother, who then has to re-don her cape to protect her daughter? It sounded really interesting! And with a group called BlowJob and N.U.D.E I was hoping it to be a comedy as well.Unfortunately what I got was a poor excuse at thinly veiled hentai. The story begins with mother and daughter discussing the return of the superhero Eighth Wonder, who is actually the daughter of Eight Wonder herself. She has taken on the mantle of her mother to fight with the forces known as N.U.D.E to defeat the villains known as BlowJob.Seriously.Now, the major problem I have with this manga is that the enemy organisation uses robots which essentially sexually harass the superheroes in order to beat them...YeahSo we have the busty mother Eighth Wonder being groped and harassed by a robot octopus monster (which incidentally is why she quit being a super hero in the first place; this is mentioned earlier in the book. She was sexually harassed out of being a super hero.) and in the end defeats it due to her sexual frustration.I skimmed ahead through the rest of the book hoping for something, anything, redeeming about it and it only got worse from there.By all means buy this if it appeals to you, I just couldn't get behind the message this was bringing.

Superhero/SuperEcchi Manga 5*****
Didn't like the authors previous work "Dance in the Vampire Bund" this however is a enjoyable first volume with nice beautifully detailed artwork with alot of ecchiness fun and is only three volumes long. this series is perfect! for how short it is, definitely will be buying two and three to add to the collection.
