Adorable set, good value, nice ornaments, fun to build, excellent advent calendar
With a retail cost of 30 bucks, this is a fantastic price for an advent calendar full of buildable ornaments. While this set does say it's compatible with Lego, I think I'd keep it separate. The building blocks all seemed sturdy and snapped together well, but the tolerances seemed a little looser than standard Lego. What I mean by that is that some pieces snapped together very easily, while others took a bit more force than I'm used to.None of it was too loose or too tight that the pieces wouldn't go together and stay together, but I could tell the difference from what I'm used to with standard Lego building sets. The ornaments are really cute and look great together all over our tabletop Christmas tree.I pulled the tab out of the box so I could slide the whole tray out to put the pieces together. That way I can put it all back in when it comes time to use it as an advent calendar. That's assuming any of my kids are even interested in a calendar this year.If you don't end up opening each paper door, you can store the ornaments back inside each compartment mostly intact without taking them apart. That makes them ready for next year.If you are giving this as a gift, I recommend opening the plastic wrap and taking out the construction booklet. Then only getting out the booklet once each day to build that day's ornament. That way all the ornaments will be more of a surprise instead of just being able to flip through the booklet and see them all in the order they'll be opened. The instructions were clear and made each ornament easy to put together.

Fun
This was really fun to open. The idea that I get to build a set every day and once the season is over I can then play with them elsewhere is great. The quality is less than Lego, but not too bad. Overall, I love it

Not all winners but mostly a great time
These are small, but fun, building block ornaments. The bags are labeled by number and correspond with the book numbers. The instructions are in in color and in a big book which is appreciated. There's only one book though, and I let my two kids do these and they were fighting over the book. This is an advent calendar so it's not designed for sharing, so I didn't take any stars off for that, just letting you know. For the most part the blocks went together easily and they were fine for my kids, the oldest is 8 and he's a pro. The dog one though, it wouldn't stay together no matter what he did. He gave up on it. The rest were fun though and I think this is a great idea for an advent calendar especially because there's no candy. I like that he can hang up the final product for all to see.

Fun! Giftable!
The kids had a great time making all these ornaments! It is packaged as a 24 day Advent activity. But not in this house! I asked the testers to do a couple for the review. Before I knew it, they had almost completed all of them! The ornaments are adorable! Two of our favorites pictured here. The set would be a nice early gift for the lego fan in your life. And the finished products make nice gifts for the kids to give to uncles, aunts and grandparents. The instructions are clear so kids can complete these without help. Highly recommend.

Great!
This Christmas Advent Calendar 2024 Ornament Decor Sets Compatible with Lego is great. The pieces are quality and fit together fine. There weren't any broken or deformed pieces, and the mini builds are fun. The finished ornaments are hung with string, but you could opt for your own hooks instead. Great addition for a LEGO themed Christmas tree!

great
I got this lego ornament set for my kids to put together for their own trees this year. They don't know about them yet but I know they'll be excited to decorate their own trees, and with legos especially haha. I would recommend these.

Countdown With Little Brick Build Ornaments
A nice advent calendar with cute little ornaments that you can build. Once built, these are very small ornaments, so if you are going to actually use them on a tree, they would probably be best for a smaller tree. The box is set up like a standard advent calendar, where you break open the corresponding one for the day of the month. What you will get each day really won’t be a surprise, since the builds do not come with separate instructions for each day, instead they are all in on book, and they are in the order of the days, so a quick look at the instruction manual and you will see which build is for which day. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. There are only a few pieces for each build and the photos are clear for which piece goes where. If you know someone that loves brick build sets, and loves Christmas time, they will likely love this take on the old classic advent calendar.

Great gift for a lego lover
This is wonderful, especially if your kid loves legos!!The best part is that it includes a how to book for each of the individual ornaments. These are perfect to put on a mini 3-4 ft Christmas tree. We used this in our kids room, and every day they could create their lego ornament and adorn their own tree with it. Huge hit! They love that they created their own masterpiece each day. I was worried the legos would break apart but once they're assembled they're very sturdy and hang easily. They love that it shows the picture of what each day's set will be too. Great gift!!
