He has been wanting one for a while now and when he saw this one he decided to give it a try. This bracelet appears to be very well made and high quality. The clasp is also a very high quality and attractive feature that makes this bracelet even more appealing. This bracelet will be worn when we are out camping and biking and doing our fun outside activities. For the most part this will be a fashion accessory but if the need ever arises we will have the additional help that the paracord bracelet when unraveled can provide to us.In case you did not know ~ Paracord is a strong, but lightweight, nylon rope that was originally used in parachutes and the securing of equipment for the military. In recent years, outdoors men have utilized paracord in campsites and when transporting gear with vehicles. It can also be useful in emergencies, where campers and hikers can use paracord to make tourniquets or lift heavy objects, which is one of the reasons paracord bracelets were created.This is a very attractive and functional bracelet and my husband and I are very pleased with this purchase.

I have to give it 5 stars even though it does have two major cons: 1. It is much wider and stiffer than I was expecting which does make it somewhat uncomfortable to wear compared to other Paracord bracelets I own. 2. It is impossible to put on by myself. I need my wife to put in the pin while I hold the clasp. I do have one other Paracord bracelet with a similar plastic clasp that I can put on by myself.Other than those two cons, the HIPPO is extremely well constructed. There's no chance of it unraveling or otherwise coming apart. The camo color is very well done with just the right combination black and tan. It is very well priced. It is definitely a bargain without giving up any advantages of a well made bracelet.I have to admit that I'm wearing it for fashion instead of survival. I do not do any camping, hiking, first responder, or any of the other normal uses for a Paracord bracelet. I just like the style of Paracord bracelets and the HIPPO has a nice style. I just wish I was able to insert the pin into the clasp by myself which would make the HIPPO about as perfect as one can expect.

Very nice bracelet. While I would not rate the actual bracelet "superior" it seems to be very good caliber and weaved very well. Several of the reviews claim it is difficult to put on and take off. Yes, it is but after practicing while watching television it takes just a few tries to get it on with no problems. My initial first time took me about two minutes. It now takes me about 30 - 45 seconds to put on. I did email the vendor to see if there was an alternate clasp and he suggested that I leave it in the closed and closed position when I am not wearing it. It will eventually take shape and will be easy to put on in no time. Note: I have only had it for two days and it already seems to be working. Good value for the money if you have the patience to make it work.

Pros:Use it everyday. Look cool to me. Just the right size for me.3 adjustment options. I use the smallest circumference adjustment for my size.Con:As seen in the picture where the white area is. This part where the edge of the paracord was sealed to secure it is like a hard plastic that rubs against the skin.Nit able to use it for long periods because of this.It's really well made product except for this issue.maybe it's a defect,I'm not sure.I hate to change my rating to 3 stars,but it is what it is.

Good day! In my honest opinion after the first reveal of it is that it’s well built, one of the most eye appealing survival bracelets that I’ve ever seen or laid eyes on! The fit is perfect for every application I can think of! It’s so versatile as far as being to adjust it to what I’m doing such as shooting and exercises where I would make it larger or smaller depending on my workouts! Most definitely will be purchasing more in the future as I’ve grown custom to wearing one since I had retired from the Armed forces due to medical issues caused from my linked time in service! The quality has BEYOND exceeded my expectations of para-bracelets! I will be back on the Hippo Paracord Bracelets page to order more as soon as need be! This Hippo survival bracelet is very well made. It looks great and it fits perfectly, as well it should because this paracord bracelet has 3 holes, so it will fit almost any size wrist.At first it was tricky to put on, but with a little practice that's no longer a problem. I like the width of the bracelet and it's got some nice bulk too. I ordered 2 Hippos: the desert cammo and the olive drab. They both look exactly as the photos show. I would recommend this product to anyone in the military or for someone who just wants a bit of a rad look. Cheers!

This bracelet is freaking awesome!!! I wear it everyday and everynight, it usually only comes off when I get a shower lol, I love it, the wider weave is more comfortable than the standard paracord bracelets and is more cord when you need it. The clasp is awesome but takes a little getting used to. Once you get the hang of it though, it's pretty simple. All in all, a very nicely made bracelet. It also comes in a really cool box! The guy who makes these is ever eager to make sure his customers are completely satisfied and that's awesome. Seriously buy one! You won't be disappointed!
