Safely Hidden
Fantastic, medium duty safe. Easy to set up with clear keyboard function. Good value for money in my opinion and convenient enough to store important or precious items. It’s easy to lock and also has the facility to screw it to the ground and/or wall.

It's good for a budget safe
This is a review of the smallest safe 17x23x17cm (HxWxD).I help look after someone with dementia who hides things and then can't remember were they are. I needed somewhere to leave things (keys, key finder fob, batteries etc) for her carers so only they could get to them. So not a typical use of a safe, and it's a lot stronger than is needed by me, but for this purpose it works well. The spec says it's made of 1.5mm steel and I've no reason to doubt that. It's strong enough to keep out the casual burglar, but I'd imagine someone armed with a beefy drill and hacksaw could get into it - although they'd make a lot of noise. As another reviewer commented, the (plastic) knob that you turn to open it feels a bit flimsy and doesn't fill you with great confidence, but it works.Regardless of the internal dimensions (and note that the door is quite thick - closer to 3cm than the 3mm the description suggests), the door opening may limit the size of what you can put inside - it's 16x12.5cm.This size safe has two fixing holes at the back and two in the base. There are two fairly meaty masonry bolts provided which is fine as you're only going to use one of the sets of holes. I understand that the larger safes have more holes. The instructions are clear and so it's quite easy to set up and use. If you enter the wrong code three times you are forced to wait before trying again. This is a common tactic to prevent someone repeatedly trying to guess the code.Batteries are not provided (4xAA are needed). Two keys are provided to allow you to open it if you forget the code or the batteries go flat. You also use them to get into the safe for the first time. The key hole is behind the rubber plug on the door between the knob and keypad.

Brihard Laptop Electronic Safe
This Brihard Laptop Electronic Safe fits snugly on top of a drawer in our cupboard and holds all we need, birth certificates, passports, and more, setting the Code is easy, open and closure is a distinct click, strong durable design, batteries included, we imagine will last years, mechanical manual override if batteries expire and keys should you forget the code, expanding bolts and holes drilled supplied for securing to wall, excellent buy, fair price, can recommend.

Safe
Warning do not buy from Amazon. Couriers damaged product in transit. The safe is a good product, however, upon delivery it was found to be damaged as it was dropped on the top corner. This put the whole safe out of square. It rocks like a table with one leg shorter than the others. Couldn’t be bothered to send it back as too heavy for me to lift. I recommend the product, but would never order another as you can’t trust the courier not to damage it in transit. It is so badly knocked out of alignment you cannot open the door.I purchased on 18/07/2024. Been unable to check it properly til today due to prior commitments. I found out that it is useless and should have been replaced. Unfortunately Couriers throw these items around and couldn’t careless if they arrive damaged.

Very happy, it's decent
Firstly it's big. But only as big as my original two small safes put together. The space inside, with shelf, is huge though. Bought for home use and it's a great bit of equipment. Sturdy and well made.

tight
Great as a safe. However, when it is advertised as a safe for a 15" laptop, it is not fibbing.... it is really difficult to get my laptop into the safe due to the thickness of the door.... and challenging to get out. However, once it is in, it fits, literally side to side.... go for it if you don't mind spending 10 seconds each time jiggling and re positioning your laptop to get it in and out. If you are impatient, you may want something bigger..... otherwise, just buy a smaller laptop :-)
