First off, prospective buyers need to pay attention to the dimensions of this media stand/rack, it is compact, definetly on the small end of media cabinets. If you have a small amount of equipment or need a place for your gaming system this media stand fits the bill. If you have an entire component system with an amplifier and separate tuner, then this media rack is not for you!This Snughome media stand will need assembled. Assembly is roughly a thirty minute job, depending on your skill level and tools used. I was very impressed with how well all of the pieces were safely packed in the box. Every part I pulled out was covered by plastic to protect it. The box was lined inside on every side with 3/8 inch thick foam and the two pieces of tempered glass were packed inside within their own padded box which was protected with hard plastic corner protectors at all four corners. This A/V stand could not have been packed better, very impressive!I needed this stand to hold a few pieces of pro level equipment. Namely a cassette deck, VCR, and a DVD player all of which I have connected to my computer. I use these to digitize media for a local business.This rack perfectly meets my needs and I am very pleased with it!

This could be good in a tight space but it's a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. Functions fine though.Assembly is pretty simple, tool about 10 minutes working at a leisurely pace. Be aware that it does matter which vertical poles go where as the holes are used to attach the headphone hook and fabric baskin- I messed that up and had to fix it.It is metal so I expect it to hold up just fine. Good simple product, just pay attention to the size in the listing and don't go by the picture.

Easy/quick assembly and honestly versatile use (I use the one part on the side to organize mail since this sits by the front door)

When we were setting this up I was nervous that it would be too small for the record player. As you can see in the photo is it just big enough. Perfect for us and the limited space we have but there is not one mm to spare

I had an issue with the first one sent to me, that arrived damaged. The company has good customer support and promptly replaced it with one. Took about 15 minutes to put together and it's very sturdy. I am using it as a second stand to hold my turntable and dedicated phono preamp and it's sturdy enough that when you walk across the room, you don't hear it when a record is playing. Would work equally well with just a small stereo setup.
