No more pesky pigeons AND looks awesomely creepy
Creepy. I am buying 2 more.Likes:Creepy, looks fantastic.Quality construction.Easy to use - so many different ways to mount/keep stable.Dislikes:None at this time. It's very well made and the head bobbles around. I don't have a pigeon problem - I had some that were making signs like they were gonna start to hang out in my backyard. This discouraged them. It's early fall in Las Vegas, Nevada. We'll see how it holds up to the sun and scorching heat over the next year. My guess is it'll eventually get brittle and need replaced, but for now it's awesome. I stabilized mine by filling the base/body with rock ground cover from the yard. I don't know that it can withstand some of the 50+ MPH winds we have around here, but not much does. I'll update as applicable.

It works
Well, I manage a commercial building in a beach town. The building has about a 20,000 sq. flat roof that had become a lunch area to the seagulls. They pick up clams from the beach and bring them to the roof to dine. I also found a number of wine bottles that I’m not attributing to the seagulls but the case is still open. After installing 3 of these owls- no more seagulls, no more clamshells to clean up. They seem to work great! Still find wine bottles though. Must be the crows?

This works!
We got this to deter our fox squirrels from climbing the power pole, blowing up the transformer (and themselves) and knocking out the power for hours at a time. We loved having them and the birds in our yard, just the aforementioned was a problem. We now have zero birds and zero squirrels. I’m a little sad about that, but at least they’re not going to blow themselves up.
