Like the raised bump for the thumb area eased my symptoms alot

After several weeks of having hand and wrisy problems, my husband has tried various methods to help and so I thought he should give this carpal tunnel brace a go.The braces are left or right hand specific and also are sized depending on your wrist circumference, so it's important you get the correct size that you need. (I ordered the L/XL, right hand).The brace is well made from soft, flexible and breathable material and also has a silicone cushion built-in for additional comfort. There's 2 curved plastic plates within the brace that will adjust to fit the shape of your hand and keep it steady and supported, but doing this without completely restricting movement.It's best if someone else puts the brace on for you so that you can get it just right without twisting your wrist and it secures with velcro straps, which can be adjusted to suit.What impressed me most with this brace is that you can use it for extended periods, both day and night, whereas a lot of braces can only be used for short periods.My husband said this offers good support and is comfortable to wear. It's not heavy or cumbersome either, which helps.

I suffer from severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands but been left handed this is the one with most pain so when this wrist support brace came up for review I thought I would give it a shot as I’ve tried other supports with out much luck, but this on the other hand forgive the pun is a different matter as soon as I put it on it felt good, normally as the working days goes by the pain gets worse but wearing this support seemed to help enormously it didn’t stop the pain but it seemed to stop it getting any worse and I could go about my job fairly ok.When I get home from work I take the support off until bedtime then replace and it works the same throughout the night.It seems very well made and the metal splint that runs up the middle and over the carpal bridge give great support an protection and is the perfect shape the three Velcro fasten straps hold the brace stead fast so it doesn’t move at all.This as been a god send for me until I get my appointment for my operation which could be awhile yet.I have rather large hands and this large to extra large fits perfectly.The price at this time is I think amazing value for the relief it gives me and I will be buying one for my right hand.5 stars all round from me and I highly recommend to all carpal tunnel syndrome sufferers out there.

My wrist has been causing me some discomfort since an intense redecorating session over the summer when I really should have got some extra help at times. I wanted a support brace that I could wear at night since I tend to lie on my hands and cause extra strain. This one is really quite comfortable and I have had no trouble sleeping with it on at night. It really has provided good relief over the last few days and I am able to carry out most of my usual activities - typing on a keyboard, using a mouse, cooking in the kitchen etc. I just need to remove the brace to wash my hand. My palms tend to sweat easily so I have placed a folded up tissue inside the brace to absorb sweat from my palm.If you have a 19cm wrist like me, which lies on the boundary of the two sizes available (S and L) I would suggest getting the large size. In the photos you can see that it fits my wrist fine, and actually prevents me from overtightening as I have done in the past. (But if you really want to overtighten the brace then get the small size).I hope to be able to do without this brace in a week or so, but for now when I remove it I can really notice what a good job it is doing to support my wrist and relieve the dull pain.

This wrist support is very good, the material allows for long use without overheating or sweating. The three Velcro straps allow a firm support especially the small strap that goes across the top of the hand to hold in place as does the curved metal bar which never feels too heavy or in the way of using my hand when wearing the strap. It offers the support I need to use my hand with far less pain than without wearing a support brace, it looks good as well so not to feel too awkward when out and about. Certainly helps me when I need to perform tasks with the confidence that my surgically repaired and still under treatment wrist requires.

I had a fall and broke my wrist but the x-ray team said no fracture. Until I went for a follow up, three weeks later, after being in agony with it, they said there was a fracture after all, quite a bad one. The splint I was given was not that great, so I ordered, and used, a similar product from Amazon, and it helped a lot. However, it got a bit smelly and I ordered this one. The support was far superior to the other one, so I am happy to recommend this one 😊👍👍👍👍👍

This is comfortable to wear and gives a good feeling of support to the wrist. It obviously impedes movement, but helps prevent the pain. I do find that even with doing nothing, your palm does get a bit sweaty which isn't very pleasant, but better to have sweaty palms, than a painful wrist.
