LAURA GELLER NEW YORK's Fine Shine Glossy Lip Oil Duo (Sweet Pink + Glass Half Full) come in short, squatty rectangle shaped "tubes" with big, fat, doe-foot applicators. I'm kind of on the fence with these types of applicators, because you have to pull the wand out of the "tube" a little more forcefully than with traditional, skinny doe-foot applicators. I am always afraid that the product is going to splash out, and when inserting the wand back in, sometimes the product gets squished off the applicator and ends up around the tube's opening.The duo comes with one transluscent pink lip oil (Sweet Pink) and one clear lip oil (Glass Half Full) which are glossy. I tried the pink first and it's so sheer that it really doesn't really add any additional color to my lips, but perhaps it would work better used over lipstick to inhance or change the shade of the lipstick a little bit. Using the clear lip oil, my lips look the same as they did when using the pink shade. Just for reference, my skin is fair to light, cool toned, and my lips are pink. I took one star off because I really hoped that the pink shade would enhance my lip color a bit, but it really doesn't.While the description says this isn't a heavy, it really isn't light weight either. I'd say the weight feels right in the between a heavy gloss (heavy, super sticky) and a light lip oil (very light feeling but also slides off the lips easily). Really, I would call these a lip gloss rather than a lip oil. In fact, I like these better than most lip oils that I've tried because of the good longevity that lip oils usually don't provide me. I could feel it on my lips for a couple hours, which surprised me in a good way. When it finally did wear off, my lips felt very moisturized!These would be a lot better though, if the pink shade was a little more pronounced because to me, because even though the are definitely different shades, when applied they basically look the same on me. However, I do like the formula very much!

This is my first Laura Geller product to try, and I really love the color and the feel of this glossy lip oil.

I thought it would be oil but its a little sticky kinda standard lip gloss Not something I wanted.

For shiny and moist lips- I love this product. Not waxy or sticky but smooth/silky. Stays on and wears well

This gloss is the perfect tint, not sticky, faint tingly sensation when I wear it, and it moisturizes my lips perfectly! It’s high quality and the applicator works well. I will be buying this again!
