Love the idea of this wish it worked better
Works ok. Keeps going off with kids standing beside be. Had to keep putting on vib mode so no one would here the false alarms. Love the idea of this wish it worked better. I'm going to order a couple WiFi one's that work with my phone. But I like that the child alarm sounds off also.

I took four kids to a kids museum- they range in age from 2 to 5 years old and dart in every direction at a moments notice.This tool was the only way I could have pulled this outing off. It has a proximity alarm which goes off if the child gets out of range or out of line of sight (does not require 100% line of sight, but if out of sight, then range is reduced). The directional guide is pretty good.... gets a little confused sometimes, but as long as you sweep back and forth a few times, it gets it dialed in pretty well- at least within about a 30 degree pie. Basically, I tried to position myself in the middle of where the three kids were (with each of them about 15 to 100 feet away). Even if I could not see them directly, I at least could confirm that I was getting a reading and could determine they were still in the area that I last saw them. If they get out of range, then my device and their 'beetle' both start chirping which makes it easier to find them as you move in the direction of the last place you saw them. About to give this device another go in a few weeks at Disney! Wouldn't leave home without it for that trip!

We have four kids under 9, we took a Disney trip for 3 days!!, this was perfect!!, and made our trip a lot less stressful!!!

Good outdoors.
Great for outdoors. Not so good indoors. The signal bounces around in stores, and you can't tell where the sound is coming from. For a child who likes to runaway... not as helpful, as I had hoped.
