I have this on a small chenille rug in front of a rarely used door. The rug doesn't have any kind of backing and was a real slip hazard. I wasn't sure if the gripper's rug side would stick well to the weaved fabric. The grippers are sticking extremely well to both the rug and the floor. The other big problem was the robot vacuum (Neato D7) pushing it around instead of vacuuming it. The D7 had no problem if it got on the rug from one direction, but approaching the rug from the other side would result in the robot pushing it around and getting stuck. The robot can now vacuum the rug and the surrounding area without issue.I do have an issue where center of the rug moves around. I need more grippers! That's not an issue with the grippers, but an issue with the lack of backing on the rug.

I bought three sets of these to use on three different flat woven wool area rugs we have in our house. We have dogs and young children, and the rugs shift around quite a bit. At first, these worked great. Even with little ones running around the house, the rugs didn't shift. However, after a while, the side that sticks to the rug became less and less sticky. Then when I pulled up the rugs to vacuum all the way under them, which is necessary to do every now and then, they wouldn't work again. I've run them under warm water many, many times, but the one side just won't stick anymore. The rug fuzzies won't come off, so they don't stick. These were a waste of money. Very disappointing.

UPDATE: After 8 months the 3 corners I did have secured were still pretty decent. The problem is that once I started removing the carpet because we purchased a new one, the keepers stuck to the floor and started tearing off the back of the carpet. I grabbed the keeper and started peeling it with the carpet. Super strong grip on the hardwood floor. But every one of them peeled off the back of the carpet. I tried to clean the fabric and such off the keepers but warm water, Dawn dish soap, and fingernails couldn’t get any of it off the keepers, rendering them all useless. I tried for over a week. Eventually trashed them. Never got any replies from the sellers. Would’ve dropped from 3 stars to 2, but since nobody replied, nor did anyone address the Q & As on this same topic, 1 Star is the best I could do.If it weren’t for receiving only 6 pieces instead the 8 as advertised, I probably would’ve given this 5 stars. But I sent a message about it and never heard back. The 3 corners of the area rug are secured, and I think it’s great. But because my area rug is woven, it bunches easily. It would have been really nice to have that 4th corner secured so my 4 year old doesn’t either trip or slip on a moving corner that can bunch up towards the rest of the carpet.

We had to purchase several rugs to help our elderly dog keep from slipping & sliding on our hardwood floors. We purchased these rug grippers to keep the rugs in place - and they are doing a wonderful job! I would definitely recommend.

Works great holding down the corner that's been trying to trip me for months.

In less than one week it wont stick to the mat and now the rug is exactly like it was before sliding all over the place.

Hey don’t work for long, especially with a dog who jumps around, this then means that the rug curls up at the ends
