After breaking my ankle in two places and finding myself at home stuck in chair in plaster waiting for an op and my hubby fed up with pulling me out of the chair with a towel around my back and under arms, not very dignified, I found this on Amazon.It fitted my recliner chair brilliantly, loads of adjustable pieces on it, width and height and gave me metal arms to get/push myself out of the chair. My own independence. It’s hard to get out of a chair in plaster or even not in plaster if your not mobile or young!I used it all through my recovery about 8 months, and have put it in the loft for older age. Worth every penny.

Easy to fit and is excellent aid for easy getting up out of the chair, actually used on 3 seater settee.

It does what it says but the legs do tend to stand at a slight angle. To me that's the only comment, my husband is the one that uses it and he now can sit on the sofa instead of a straight back chair, easy to assemble

Excellent idea for someone who has had an operation where they need to use their arms to help themselves up without putting strain on their legs and hips.

Perfect and extremely srong

I cannot justify this costing over £100!!I will use it as my elderly father needs it to help him stand/sit...It is quite flimsy and there is still movement even when the bolts are fully tightened...The polystyrene packaging was broken and all indications if I'm correct, point towards this being a Chinese made product..

SO DISSAPOINTED This item appeared perfect for my husband but on arrival noticed the BASE CONNECTOR SUPPORT was missing rendering item totally unusable for his needs!!! The only contact I could find was in the USA and despite emailing them have had no response. I am unable to return due to disabilities and have wasted a lot of money.

Need upper body strength to use it

Purchased for my 94 year old mother (who uses a walker) to use on her couch because in recent months, it was become increasingly difficult for her to move from a sitting position on the couch to a standing position. The product was easy to assemble and install, it's very sturdy, and helps her a lot. Before I purchased it, I was worried the legs might stick out too far from the couch or get in her way, and that I'd need to worry about the possibility of her tripping over them. Fortunately, that's not a concern at all. The legs stand immediately adjacent to the couch. No worries about tripping!

Adjustable fits under couch or chair seat easy. All tools included. No fuss set up.

Pas si simple à installer quand on n'y connait rien mais il y a pire. Faire plusieurs essais de réglage jusqu'à obtention de la hauteur et largeur désirées. Est sensé supporter 136 Kilos mais j'en doute. Aide vraiment appréciable et appréciée. Je ne regrette pas mon achat et le recommande vivement. Pour les personnes très corpulentes, se diriger plutôt vers le "Stander Heavy Duty EZ Stand-N-Go". J'ai l'air de faire de la pub mais pas du tout. C'est juste que j'ai recherché ces aides à la mobilité pendant de nombreux mois (quasi inexistantes en France) et maintenant que je les ai trouvées, pourquoi ne pas en faire profiter autrui? D'autant qu'elles sont difficiles à dénicher sur Amazon car il faut trouver la bonne dénomination. Moi, je suis tombée dessus par hasard. Et il a bien fait les choses. Je suis convaincue que cette aide va faciliter le quotidien de bien des personnes âgées, blessées ou handicapées.

Bought one of these for my then 94 yo mother, after she kept falling forwards trying to rock out of her chair. This has greatly improve her safety and improved maneuverability - in terms of being able to get up more regularly with ease. Some arm strength required to pull herself up but at 95 now, she's still finding it much easier than the old process of getting up. Well made product, strong and fairly easily assembled.

A perfect solution for my father's couch! Definitely helps assist him with his mobility and keeping his independence :)
