The first filter i received was correct Blue O-ring - the second and third were the Black O-ring - The Black O-ring is shorter and leaks on my ford lighting 5.4 -- the Blue is the only one wont leak -- BLUE has more O-ring to compress

Prefer this to any other brand for my car. Sturdy build, synthetic media, and the bypass valve doesn't run the oil through the dirty part of the filter when engaged. Extra capacity over stock filter is a nice piece of mind thing but probably overkill for street driving.

It’s a regular ford Motorcraft oil filter with a Fordracing sticker on it 😂 the real Ford racing oil filters, have a blue gasket and round drain holes. This is just a regular Motorcraft oil filter with the Ford racing sticker on it.

This filter is a perfect replacement for the $80 one in my Aston-Martin. Equal specs, great quality. BTW, be sure you're getting a real Ford Racing filter. There are a lot of FL820 filters our there that are just junk. Most of them have a far lower bypass pressure. Aston (and high-performance Fords) have a higher oil pressure, get cheap all you do is bypass your filter because the overpressure valve is set far too low. Stick to the real thing.

It looks like it won't fit or seal up properly but fits just fine and has never leaked in several oil changes with this model.

Perfect. I used this as an alternate replacement part for a 2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. It fits perfectly and is less than a quarter the cost of the Aston Martin oil filter.
