Like: LED so cheap to operate and supposed to last longer than I will, one package for three dependent functionsDislike: beam does not lend itself for a vertically hanging porch light, requires quite a bit of motion to set it off.Used this bulb on my screened in back porch that is our normal ingress/egress point. For my particular application, this may not be the right solution. Because installing in a verticle jelly-jar porch light causes the detection cone to detect inside our house, the dogs turn on the porch light whenever they get close to the door. And because it requires quite a bit of motion to activate, the light goes off and on when sitting on the porch. It goes off when sitting pretty still, but pops on if I stand or start walking toward the door but not with even vigorous hand notion.Probably better for other applications where it is mounted high or on a ceiling, so no stars docked for this, but they lose one for the sensitivity and not telling us customers about this beam direction thing and how it could detect stuff inside your house if mounted on an exterior wall.

This is a great motion sensing light bulb. I purchased it to provide lighting as needed in a very dark area in my yard. Once it starts to get dark, walking through the yard and within about fifteen feet of the lightbulb causes it to illuminate the area. It stays lit for a minimum of about thirty seconds. Staying in the bulb’s vicinity will keep it lit indefinitely as long as there is motion present. It is about as bright as a hundred watt bulb, but it only consumes about fifteen watts since it’s an LED bulb.

Works most of the time. My husband is always leaving the closet light on so this has been a good easy fix. I had bought a switch but that would be on the outside of the closet and more work to install. This bulb detects movement when we are halfway into the bedroom. My daughter says she sees it staying on, but I don’t know if it is because she was on the other side of the closet wall beforehand. I figure it still saves even if it is turned on unnecessarily sometimes.

I bought this motion sensor bulb to go in garage/workshop. I wanted motion light to come on when I get home at night. Solar wouldn't work, and I didn't want to get into expense of hard-wiring solution. So, this bulb and the perfect "lamp" works great. Light comes on when garage door starts to open, and stays on til I'm in the house. Such an improved range compared to traditional motion detector lamps. Color seems true to 2700 K, which makes then so much more pleasant. And they’re bright! Bigmouth but for bare bulb applications, who cares? A win.

Put these in my garage for dark mornings and late nights. Comes on as soon as it detects any motion at all! These work great!

Works great! I have it mounted on an out building and it helps when your hands are full.... brilliant illumination.
