Love the test taking tips!

This is a great book to practice for standardized testing practice. It would be nice to use all year round a little practice at a time. I bought it a couple of weeks before our big test, but it was very useful.

I homeschool and used this to help prepare my 3rd grader for the upcoming STAR test. This book has three full length tests for math, the first two come with explanations and tips. My daughter took the first one and it showed me the standards we haven't taught and the standards we need to reteach. It was easy to use, friendly and good practice for standardized testing. I think it's helpful for students to see a variety of directions and formats beyond the main textbook.

This is an excellent resource for teaching test taking strategies to students. This book is a great investment. Buy it!

Helpful for test prep!

My 3rd Graders actually enjoyed the stories. They enjoyed the cartoon like tutor character that gave them tips on the pages to help them with comprehension. They even had a little fun with it because they got to give their little tutor character a name.
