Kiwi Design H4 Boost Battery Halo Head Strap Review – A Game-Changer for Quest 3
If you’re looking to take your Meta Quest 3 experience to the next level, the Kiwi Design H4 Boost Battery Halo Head Strap is an absolute must-have. It’s a day and night difference compared to the standard strap that comes with the headset.Comfort That LastsRight off the bat, the comfort factor is a game-changer. For someone like me—standing at 6 ft 7 with a boulder for a head—finding a head strap that actually fits well and doesn’t squeeze my skull like a vice is a rarity. Thankfully, this one is super comfortable and forgiving, making long play sessions a breeze.Extended PlaytimeThe built-in battery is a godsend. It dramatically extends playtime, meaning I can stay in VR longer without constantly worrying about charging. No more immersion-breaking interruptions—just more time to enjoy VR the way it’s meant to be played.A Worthy UpgradeWhether you’re into long gaming sessions or just want a more balanced, pressure-free fit, the H4 Boost is worth every penny. The standard Quest 3 strap just doesn’t cut it, and this upgrade makes all the difference. If you’ve got a larger head and need extra comfort, this is one of the best accessories you can get for your Quest 3.Final Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A must-buy for serious VR users.

THE must have accessory for Quest 3.
I’ve done quite a bit of research about better head straps for Quest 3, looked at many options but decided on this Kiwi H4 Boost, and my instincts were right 😀It came very well packaged, ready assembled to fit to your quest 3 headset. Easy to follow and relatively simple instructions for fitting. Very good quality components, feels strong and premium. There are a few ways to get your perfect fit, take the time to experiment and you will find it! Obviously everyone’s head and facial structure varies in size and shape, this head-strap affords several options to achieve optimal fit. This halo head-strap delivers exceptional comfort and extends your quest 3 battery and use time to at least double. Head strap supports charging the head-strap battery simultaneously with the quest 3 internal battery - saving time and very convenient. And believe me, this takes so much pressure off your face, (no dents or red marks left on your face unlike the stock strap!) you WILL want to stay in VR for way longer - the perfect combo of comfort and long play. I am now so happy to be able to walk around the house in mixed reality mode, I even answer the door with it on and certainly don’t care about the odd looks that I get - that’s how great it is; I don’t want to take it off !!

Great product
Very comfortable, excellent build quality, plenty of customisation and battery gives 2 hours Xtra, but for me it didn't feel stable when I moved quickly, more suitable for watching media, or calm vr, not for beatsaber etc

One of the best on the market.
This has to be one of the best on the market for a halo strap. It has weight from the battery but not as much weight as another competing product that has quite a lot crammed into the strap (a 10kmAh battery plus air conditioning!). Therefore providing a little more comfort and less stress on your neck when moving around. As for having a halo strap itself, that itself is a no brainer as it counterbalances the headset on your head, and simply makes it easier to put on and take off, as well as kinda giving you a 'handle' to carry it around the house via. With this halo headset I have Kiwi's own carry case (the huge juggernaut one that looks like an egg) and this fits the headset with halo strap nicely, along with the 2 controllers (with grips) although they need a slight shuffle so they're in place without the triggers being pressed down and hence draining the batteries. The USB-C passes power through although I don't actually use the battery much because I'm only using the Quest 3 for an hour at a time (motion sickness) and hence keep it unplugged and just charge my Quest directly. But it functions very well and can be connected permanently and then the entire thing charged from the USB-C on the battery pack itself.I've had this halo now for 4 months just to add.

Game changer. Must have for Quest 3S
I will start by saying I was so confused about which strap to buy when looking to replace the rubbish one that comes with the Quest 3S which was not at all suitable for our small headed 10 year old to whom the Quest belongs. I saw this one tested by a YouTuber and it seemed to be exactly what we wanted. It is obviously not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. It’s built perfectly to take the weight of the headset off your face and balance it out and fits all of our family well and is so simple to adjust that the ten year old can do it himself. The battery is ace too! 10 year old has been on an off it through the day and hasn’t needed to charge it yet after a few hours okay! If you’re torn between this and another strap get this one. You won’t regret it.

3.5 id say -
Its infinitely times better than the original headset.Pros,-no pain on head-Not really heavy-Charge the headset (not sure for how long but they claim 2-3hrs, I suspect 1-2 hours)Cons-It feels quite loose when playing shooting games, you will need to hold the headset when looking down-Its a halo strap so the back bit rest around your crown, it would be nicer if you could move it to the lower part of your head- DOES NOT feel comfy when laying down despite what it is advertised as, there is a massive battery that pushes your head forward, its incredibly uncomfortable laying down- the price seems to vary, i got my for £75 reduce from 95 its a bit pricey imoOverall, I'm happy with the headset, its hard to compare as this is the only 1 I have.

Balanced weight and good padding means comfortable in use
I'm new to VR, haven't spent long periods in there yet but after 3 or 4 2-3 hours sessions I can say I found the headset comfortable in use. I had wondered if the added weight would be a problem but no.No hard metrics on battery life increase yet but first impressions good.
