My family absolutely loves the MALACASA grey-white dish set! We’ve been using them for a while now, and they’ve become a go-to for everything from casual dinners to special occasions. The plates are just the right sizes for all our meals, whether we’re serving up breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and they’re easy to clean, which everyone appreciates. The simple but elegant design really adds to the overall dining experience, making even a regular dinner feel a bit more special.What’s really impressed us is how sturdy the dishes feel. Despite their lightweight feel, they’ve held up perfectly through daily use, going in and out of the dishwasher and microwave without any issues. My family especially loves that they’re stackable and save us space in the kitchen, which has been a big plus with our limited storage.The off-white color is a great neutral that fits in with any table setting, and we’ve gotten so many compliments from guests when they see them. My family really enjoys using them because they look modern, but still feel cozy and welcoming. Whether for a formal dinner or just pizza night, this set has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. Recently decided to revamp my kitchen dinnerware and go with the new trend of a simple yet chic look. This dinnerware comes as a set for 4 and is basic white, made of a lightweight, very durable porcelain which is not bland looking, its easy on the eyes and can go from casual dinning to a formal elevated dinner with some pop with very little effort. The dinner and salad plates are a prefect size for everyday use with a slight curve and stack well. The bowls are average size with nice depth and stack higher, as they do not rest as far within each other. The coffee mugs sold me! Love them! Although the set comes with 16 ounce cups, they hold 12 ounces easily for brewing of pure bliss in the mornings for coffee or tea, allowing for extra room for added flavors like cream and sugar.For a quick warmup at 2 minutes in the microwave, the cups worked great and the handles were not hot to the touch. Doing a re-heat of left overs, the dinner plate was hot to the touch after 1.30 min in the microwave and needed a pot holder to remove. Have not used them in the oven yet.The dishes stack/load well in the dishwasher. No indication of scratch marks on the glaze coating after using sharp knives on them.The set came very securely packaged/wrapped in styrofoam. There were no visible flaws or chips on the dishes upon initial unpacking. Also, the set(s) came all the same color with no slight color variance of shades of plates vs cups or bowls. I purchased 2 sets of this dinnerware.Overall - a nice, crisp, yet stylish set for the price that did not break the bank. I would buy this product again, it is an impressive buy for the price.

We really like this set. Especially the large plates and bowls. Plain white. Great value for money. We're ordering a second set.The only reason I docked it 2 star was that the plates edges are easily chippable. Other than that, love this set.

The box arrived crushed in places. I opened it to find the styrofoam was largely crumbled. Surprisingly, no dishes were broken. Guess they are durable. Very pretty too.

I am impressed with this set overall. It is a great price for this type of dishware set. Everything arrived in good shape and was packaged very neatly and carefully.It is a set for four people, so it is perfect for most of my get-togethers with friends for family because I rarely have more than 4 people at one time. The weight of dishes has a good feel, like sturdy enough that they shouldn’t break or chip easily, but light enough to carry around with a full serving of food on it.As I unpacked it, there were a few black spots on the sides that I thought were going to be an issue, but it was just a bit of tiny debris from packaging/factory and washed right off.The finish is smooth and shiny. The color is very good overall. Not a paper white, but better than some of my other “white” mugs from other manufacturers. The dishes do have some cosmetic flaws, but they are pretty minor and very similar to the small flaws in my other stoneware and porcelain dishes. The glazing or coating process can be a bit uneven sometimes. If you are familiar with stoneware, you will know this is the case.Overall, this is a great dish set. Since it is white it can be paired with a lot of other dishes and colors. I have some yellow and green Fiestaware and these look great together with it.I would not hesitate to buy this as a gift for a newlywed couple who is just starting out, someone for their new apartment, or for a college student who has a kitchen area, as well as for your own personal use. I would buy this product again. It is an especially good buy for the price. A similar set in my local department store is normally 2x this price!If you want more details, read on…Microwave use has been fine so far. The dishes do not get exceedingly hot while food stays cold like some of my other glass dishes. The food warms (and the dish warms too).These had no issue in the dishwasher. No chips or problems so far. I will update if anything changes.I have not used them in the oven. They say they are oven safe, but I typically don’t use any dishes like this in the oven so I have not had the occasion to try it out.This set is similar to a dish set sold at my local department store for $120 (I have seen it on sale for about $60). However, the dish set from the department store has 10 oz mugs and this Malacasa set has 16 oz mugs. I love the size of these mugs! They might be a bit heavy for some, but I like having the extra space for more coffee! The bowls in the department store set hold 20 oz and are not as deep. This set has 26 oz bowls. Again, I like having that larger size bowl especially for stew and I love the deeper sides. Many of the bowls in sets like these are flatter, almost like a plate. The deeper style doesn’t fit quite as well in the dishwasher, but oh well, I can deal with that trade off.I have included lots of photos so anyone reading this can see examples of everything I shared here. In a few of the photos one or more of the dishes looks a slightly different color. They are not. The color difference is only in the photo due to lighting/flash and not on the dishes. They are all the same exact same color of white (see photo that includes food and in the box before unpacking as an example).

Love this set! Looks elegant but I can use it every day too. The bigger bowls are perfect for serving dishes (I live alone and at the most would serve 4-6 people) or for things like fried rice and goulash. The plates are the perfect size. The main reason I got this set was because these are indestructible. Fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, they can go anywhere. Highly recommend!

These dishes are exactly what I had hoped. They replaced a set that were painted with lighthouses that I truly loved. Over time the favored lighthouse dishes had faded from use and the dishwasher. We decided that we needed plain white so that wouldn't happen again. We don't need cups, saucers. We only needed plates and bowls. These are perfect. The dinner and sandwich plates are just the right size as are the pasta bowls and cereal bowls. They fit nicely in the cupboard and look classy on the table. We are very happy with the set.

The plates are beautiful, sturdy and well designed. I had only one problem: one of the plates shows a crack that occurred before the enamel coating. It will not break but quality control should have addressed it.
