Ancient Trees: Portraits of Time

This was purchased as a gift and was received with great delight. My friend is looking forward to spending many happy moments browsing the pages and being inspired in both her art, photography and increasing her already enormous love of trees.

Nice book, some beautiful images with background info. Nice to flick through. One or two grainy images...I think they add to the feel of the book though.

This book has some atmospheric photographs of trees. Each tree has grown in its own unique way over decades and decades. We should revere these ancient living organisms like the Celts did - they will, in most cases, outlast us all.
