For an adorable and functional way to stay warm, this hoodie blanket does a great job on both fronts.The material feels just like a regular sherpa blanket—soft and cozy, with no unpleasant smells upon opening. For shorter people, the blanket will reach all the way to your feet, but if you’re of average height or taller, you’ll prevent it from dragging on the ground. The bottom snap buttons help shorten the length, and they snap vertically rather than horizontally to create sleeves, which might be easy to miss if you don’t check the pictures. The design is not only cute but also functional. However, my girlfriend wished the blanket could be fully closed at the bottom, as it remains relatively open no matter how you wear it.Currently priced at $36, with a $5 coupon bringing it down to $31, this hooded blanket is fairly priced compared to similar products on Amazon. Since most hooded blankets fall within this price range, I recommend choosing a design you like best. That being said, in my opinion, the capybara version is one of the better designs, and I’m confident most people who get it will love it. So based on price, I recommend this product.Overall, whether you're buying this as a gift or for yourself, this blanket not only looks great but also functions well as a warm, cozy sherpa blanket.

I ordered this hooded blanket for my 8-year-old. It's well made with high quality material it feels super soft and keeps her warm. It's a great size to wrap up in and stay comfy. I recommend it for the price.

This is a cool little blanket. Its very warm.

We spend so much of our lives looking for pleasure and joy, but sometimes joy finds us when we weren't looking. This silly blankie is an example of such an occasion.First I'll confess why I gave this four stars and not five: It's the paws and maybe the snaps. I've poured over the instructions, photos, and video and I can't for the life of me figure out how these paws are supposed to work for people with normal-length (non t-rex) arms. Sadly, they don't fit. And even worse, they hang there like...(forgive me for being indelicate) saggy mammaries.With that out of the way...This thing is just so amazing, even when you take the silly paws into account.Let me grade this on two categories: quality and lovability.First the quality:- Snaps: The snaps are good but not great. I love it that they're plastic (doesn't get hot or cold) instead of metal. Metal snaps never seem to be body temperature. They're either freezing in a cold room or red hot if you're too close to the heater or fireplace. But snaps need to, ya know, snap. Right? These snaps excel at not freezing or burning you, but they don't quite snap very well. Some of them are easy, but some are hard.- Material: Can someone please remind me what comes after A+? Perhaps the grade doesn't exist, but I'm gonna give it an A++++ (four plusses!!!). The visible outer layer is very attractive and plenty durable. And the inner layer closest to your skin is divine. I immediately thought of two things: the wool seat covers on my VW Rabbit back when I was a goober in college and the sweet lamb skin lining on one of my old winter coats. It's comfortable, warm, and as durable as a sheep (not that I've ever tried to wear out a sheep).Lovability:Take a look at the photos and look at the design of the hood. It's so doggone cute. And then look at the rest (minus the saggy bits) and see just how cute it is. It's just adorable.I picked this for our daughter who lives in a realm of cuteness. She was in town this week to be with us and the rest of the family for a family tragedy (think The Big Sleep). She was sad when she got here (and we all remained sad for the duration), but the whole family got to spend an hour of joy teasing our 30 year-old daughter dressed in this cuter-than-cute blankie in the 100+ degree weather while we all fawned over her.Hmm, back to the practicalities, she tossed it in the dryer because she's had a lifetime of experience with fluffy things and the lint they generate. She didn't want to wreck it in the wash, but she also didn't want to pick goobers off of her clothes for the rest of her life. The dryer was remarkably clean afterward, which tells me this wasn't the lint bomb that we expected.All in all, this is kind of a metaphor for my beautiful family: Some of us have things that sag, but we're still beyond lovable. And even though some of our snaps don't snap so well, we make you feel amazing when we surround you. In my mind, each of us are six-star individuals, but objectively I can see how the world might move too fast and shake their heads and snicker as they just barely give us four stars. And I'm OK with that. But you...from what I know of you...and I know a thing or two...you need this. Because you're one of us. And whether WE love you or not, SOMEBODY loves you. And hopefully YOU love you. And you're precisely who this is for. Because you love you (and we do too).

Great gift. So cute.It's soft. I got for the early morning cold bus rides to meets. All the kids loved it. Now it's our lucky hug blanket.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for one of my granddaughters. She’s an older teenager and used to have guinea pigs when she was little so I knew she would love the capybara face. The fleece is warm and soft and the perfect thing for curling up on the couch with a cup of hot tea, especially if you’re under the weather. The paws with the snaps are not thought out correctly. The arms need to be longer. That being said, you could slip a remote control into one of the paws and a candy bar into the other lol

The fabric is super cozy and warm but the way it's designed is not ideal for keeping the cold air out. There is no area around the neck that closes. It's got snaps to create holes for the arms and then there are the pockets/paws for your hands but it's all too confusing for me. The paws also look weird just hanging there if your hands are not in them. I'll be keeping it on hand for guests when they come over to sit outside on cooler nights and we can giggle at them trying to figure it out. lol.

This is so adorable! My son loves it. It's so soft, warm and comfortable. It looks just as pictured. Great quality. Makes great gift idea. Would recommend.
