These are valves. They’re one way check valves. They’re plastic. Probably won’t last as long as you’d like but you get different sizes. Total of twenty eight.

I needed one of these for an older car to go in the vacuum line to the heating/ac system, the car has vacuum actuated flaps that control the air distribution. The old check valve was bad, and when going up hills the vacuum would leak out of the system through the bad check valve and the air would all come out the defrost vents at the windshield! This new check valve prevented the vacuum from draining out during temporary periods of low engine vacuum, all works well again. It's nice to have an assortment of these on hand. The box they came in is nice and sturdy and keeps them well organized, they fit right in a drawer in the tool chest and don't take up a lot of space.

I have a vacuum pump that runs all night and when in bed. I am so worried about it getting so hot from constant use that it might burn up. So I am putting 2 together in series and I am going to make them swap places and take turns every half hour and I needed some check valves to make the system work. I got this for a fuel line on my Kubota ZD1211, and it is working fine for me. I have only used the 5/16 one so far, but all the others work when I test them. The build quality is good, and they are see-thru, so you will know if it has fuel in it.I like them.

I'm not sure what different tubing sizes I'll need to be using, so having this assortment is very handy. There is a bit of flash around the barbs, so they aren't the best finish I've ever seen, but so far each one I've tried has worked properly.
