I got this as a gift for a friend of mine who shares everything she has with her mother and sisters. I thought this would be perfect because everyone would have fun with it. There are a lot of gifts in this box, something for everyone. Very pleased that I found something to fit my need.

The calendar does contain what it advertises.Some of the stuff in the calendar is really quite nice, but some of it is definitely horribly junky.I would suggest this for perhaps a pre-teen that thinks costume jewelry is amazing, or perhaps someone that really likes random whimsical items and doesn't need anything fancy or "real".Looking at the picture of the included items will be a great way to see if this is for your intended recipient - the advertising is correct.

I really hate it when sellers do the bait and switch with pictures and descriptions: they list one thing, then you order their product, you receive it, and say, "This wasn't what was listed," and then they amend the listing. This pictured AND listed a cup (I don't remember if it was supposed to be metal or plastic), but no cup arrived and now it is out of the picture and they removed it from the words as well. I specifically remember thinking, "How small is that cup going to be to fit in an advent calendar? Maybe it comes on the side?" And, of course, it did NOT come with a cup.I didn't open every single box, but I did (carefully) peek inside most of them to see what the quality of things to come is like. It's actually quite nice! Everything that I felt or inspected seems high-quality and super cute. The outer box is very sturdy and each of the 24 individual boxes is also well-built and open in very unusual ways. For example, you would expect a long skinny rectangular prism-shaped box to open on the wide side like a typical box, but it opens on the long, narrow side. It's very entertaining!It was a little pricey at $50 when I ordered, but I see now it's $40 plus a 20% off coupon: that's a great deal! If you need a nice gift full of lots of fun girly surprises at this price point, this is it! I'm super excited for December 1st to come, but I may jumpstart this calendar on Thanksgiving day!

I like the concept of this. Unfortunately, in order to give an accurate description of the quality of what's actually inside, I would need to open it, which kind of defeats the purpose if you're going to give it to someone else. I guess the biggest issue boils down to if the items are worth $50 (or at least feel like you spent $50). I will revise accordingly once open commences (not sure how helpful that will be since I doubt many people will buy these after 12/1). There's always next year (2025)!

I love this little Advent calendar! I can't wait to start opening the items for Christmas. It's good quality. I love the variety of items and just overall really happy with this Advent calendar.
