I use a sublimation printer and A Sub paper. The sublimation went well and pics maintained their vivid appearance afterwards. My paper was a little hard to remove afterwards, but I have that issue with all my metal sublimations. So I think that's more my heat setting than these plates.The transferred graphics appear to have become one with the license plate. The pictures has that depth where you know it transferred well. No fading at all. Not sure how the elements would treat it on the front of the car. But if you plan on using like that, consider putting a type of clear coat for added protection, just to avoid or prolong that sun fade. We are using them for a wall project for pics of the kids, so we do not have to worry about it.Overall pleased with how easy the transfer went and how rigid the plates feel. Seems like .65mm thickness is good enough to avoid that flimsy feel that creases easy. Very satisfied with these plates.

The image transferred really nice. My only complaint is that it's 12in long and the longest my printer can make is just under 11 so I had to splice two images together to make it work.

These blanks are great for sublimation. The coating is smooth and takes the sublimation ink vibrantly. The screw holes are a little rough around the edges so be careful handling as with any cut metal plate. Good value.
