David's Father (Annikin) Paperback – Picture Book, May 1, 1988

I guess you get what you pay for.🙄 Tiny book. Now I see it does give the measurements in the description, but who would think to look for that? I sure didn't! I also should have read the reviews, which I usually do. But I was familiar with the book, so didn't think I needed to. Obviously I assumed it was a normal-sized book. Good grief!

My kids LOVE Robert Munsch and love reading his stories over and over (and over....). These are great to toss in a travel bag or in the car. They are tiny!

With Robert Munsch as a storyteller and Michael Martchenko as an illustrator you are guaranteed a delightful read with lively pictures to entertain the kids. My kids (5&2) love this book as they live with giants too, ever seen your kid in your tshirt and shoes? It was good to see the simple way of showing that differences are just something that makes us interesting, not someone to fear.As an adoptive parent, it's nice to see that theme in a book that doesn't preach adoption, it's just part of the story as are the multi-ethnic illustrations.For all kids, a fun book, for adults, a fun book, can't top that!

There is never an end to the fun with Robert Munsch! This is yet another story of friendship and childhood antics. The imagination of children should forever be enjoyed and it’s always celebrated in these favorite books of ours.

Very disappointed with this, as I had expected a full size paper back edition. This is a very tiny book.

This is a really awesome book his books are laugh out loud funny and you will definitely love reading it to the kids.

Misleading this book is VERY tiny.

My daughter and I really liked this book. Obviously the fact that David's father is a giant is a euphemism for other differences someone may have. I liked the message about accepting peoples' differences and getting to know someone before you judge someone. Munsch always has such great books for kids.

Didn't read up on these books enough before I purchased the whole lot of them. I assumed being a small book, they'd be hard back like a smaller version of a board book. This is not the case. They are just a regular paperback book in a much smaller format. Cute for an older child, but at the age range I was looking for, they were not appropriate as she tends to tear the pages out of paper books! Returned, but would definitely purchase again at a later date as it was my own fault for not looking into things further before buying!

Great classic in easy travel size. My baby loves the silly stories (I got a few to keep in the diaper bag). I wish there were more minis because these are awesome. (Side note... the print in some of these books is super small... that’s my only complaint)

Fique atento ao tamanho! O livro não é pequeno... Ele é minúsculo! O seu tamanho desmotiva a leitura... O que é uma pena... Os livros, especialmente quando destinados às crianças, não se resumem ao seu conteúdo. A experiência de leitura envolve a estética, a textura, o tamanho... Os livros (comprei dois desse tamanho) não foram sequer lidos por aqui... Foram retirados da caixa e postos de lado, onde estão até agora.

Loved these books as a kid and thought my son would enjoy story time even more which he does but you may need a magnifying glass to read these books. I did not read the fine print I guess and when the 3 books came in .. they were.. the size of my palm... so mini books is what you get and eyes like Superman is what you need

Love these cute little books. I’ve used them for Halloween goodie bags and stocking stuffers :) excellent value!
