I got so tired of having counterpart compost bins for.kitchen scraps...At some point they all would get gross and end up in the garden to be hosed out later. If they ever did. And of course when it was sitting outside it wasn't getting used for kitchen scraps.One of our local stores carried these for a minute, but that was long enough to learn to love these cardboard buckets. Because when these get gross, we just chuck the whole thing in the yard compost and grab a new, clean bucket. The cardboard is sturdy enough that we get almost two weeks use per bucket.

These are great because they don't require gross maintenance. Just toss them in our backyard compost. I would've given it 5 stars except for the shipping makes it so expensive. So sad they're not available anymore.

We use them for composting. Fill the buckets in the kitchen then empty in composter. Saves trips to the backyard for all those little compost wastes. No smell, minimal garbage disposal usage. Very practical!

I can place these directly into my composter. They’re great for the scraps from our home grown garden. A lot better then placing them in those store bought plastic bags that you have to shake the stuff out of.
