SheafferVFM Ballpoint Pen Ultra Mint

This is an awesome pen. I just love writing with it. It is very smooth and well balanced. One negative (if you care about looks a lot) is that this feels/looks a bit plasticky. I bought this, and couple of Parker pens ( Parker Urban Navy Gold Trim Retractable Ballpoint Pen  and  Parker Frontier Stainless Steel GT Ballpoint Pen, 74032  ). This is much better than the Parkers wrt writing but the Parkers look better. If I wanted my pen to look good and be acceptably comfortable to write with, I'd buy  Parker Urban Navy Gold Trim Retractable Ballpoint Pen  and put a non-gel refill in it. If I wanted a really comfortable pen to write with, and which looked decent, I'd go with this pen.

The colors of these VFMs are vibrant and fun, the pens are well balanced and feel good in the hand, the refills are superb. I much prefer these to their competitors, the Parker Jotters, which I find drab and too narrow in comparison. Bic, which now owns Sheaffer, has done a great job, particularly with the refills, which are superbly smooth and dark.

nice color & finish. writes nice with a gel refill. however, the pen feels cheap. no decen weight and the refill rattles inside when you write and when setting it down. thats the problem with sheaffer, their pens are pretty much sub-par. ive had other brands and they dont feel cheap. this is more of a $5 pen. do not give this as a present, YOU will look cheap.

Love this pen! The color is beautiful. I clip it to an inside pocket of my purse to keep from losing it and I like the quick clip option. Writes nice.

Absolutely gorgeous pen, the color is lovely and even though I write a lot, my hand never feels tired or my fingers cramped because the barrel is not too thick, not too thin for my hand.
