Antinol Joint Supplement helps keep cats frisky and playful. Taken daily, it helps enhance the joint comfort and mobility of cats and is safe for long-term use. Antinol can help if you notice changes in your cats activity level or playfulness, helping to keep him more active, longer. With Omega fatty acids, it promotes skin health as well as joint health, helping to reduce inflammation and benefiting cartilage health. Antinol is a powerful joint support formula that starts with Green Lipped mussels from the open waters of New Zealand. Once harvested, these mussels are put through an extensive process to extract what becomes the main ingredient in Antinol, called PCSO524. This special ingredient is a blend of Omega3 and other fatty acids known to enhance joint health. A patented extraction process was specially developed to retain a high concentration of these ingredients in every Antinol capsule, keeping their beneficial properties intact. When you give your cat Antinol, you know he is getting the native benefits of PCSO524. It's easy to give cats Antinol. Many cats will eat it right from your hand or straight from the bowl along with their regular meal. However, if your cat eats around the soft gel, simply cut it open and mix it in with the food.

Waste of Time and Money: EPA Better for Cats with Arthritis
We were recommended to purchase Antinol by my general vet after our cat was diagnosed with arthritis in the knees and hips. It is an expensive product dosed once per day and comes in a gel capsule similar to a fish oil capsule. Our cat refused to eat the capsule as is, so we had to split the capsule open and feed it to him in Applaw's Mackarel Loin. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get the juice of the capsule out of the capsule because the outer layer is super tough. We cut it open with a scissors and tried to squeeze the juice out, but it always seemed like a good bit was lost in the process. Our cat wasn't too keen on the flavor and that is why we had to use it in a treat. We also did not notice almost any improvement after using it from October thru December. Our orthopedic vet told me that there was a recent study done that stated DHA was actually more beneficial for cats with arthritis and EPA was more beneficial in dogs. He also had never heard of Antinol. I showed him the box and he said he wouldn't recommend it because it wasn't clearly stating how much of a percentage the kitty was getting in each capsule. He recommended switching to Wild Caught, GMO Free Omega 3 Fish Oil for Cats, Reduces Shedding, Supports Skin, Coat, Joints, Heart, Brain, Immune System, Highest EPA & DHA Potency, Only Ingredient is Fish, 16 oz Pump Bottle. What a difference! Our cat LOVED the taste and it was easy to give him one to two pumps daily in wet food. We decided to switch his wet food to Ziwi Peak's, which is the best food recommended for arthritic cats because it has green mussels in it already- the same thing as Antinol's active ingredient. Our orthopedic vet said that it is much less stressful and easier on felines if the green mussels are in a food source that in a pill form. Although Ziwi Peak is more expensive than other cat foods, it is more nutritiously dense and has the same ingredients as Antinol, so don't waste your money on Antinol, just buy a higher quality cat food that already includes green mussel protein in it and add some much loved EPA. My cat was much happier, less stressed, and his arthritis did not seem to bother him nearly as much in a shorter period of time.

This seems to work...
I give these to our Senior kitty once a day and it seems to help. Since I am not able to consult with kitty it's purely speculative on our part. However, he seems to move about a bit better.Keep in mind that I was also concerned with his bowel movement and using 1/4 teaspoon of Miralax everyday and this seems to help.I also apply a throid medication that is compounded to meet kitty's need. Latest test shows it's working. In addition, the Vet has me giving kitty 100cc of lactated ringers twice a week. I can't seem to find this on Amazon...we should have a means to get the Rx submitted via Amazon. 1 liter lactated ringers, 18 x 1" needles and IV admin set.Hey...Life is Good! 🙏🤙🐈

Great product, bad batch
My vet recommended Adinol for our older cat's joints. It helped greatly. So i purchased a second package on Amazon. It's expensive, and MUCH more expensive since the gel caps are SO hard i cannot puncture them with a pin (which is what i did EASILY with the first package). So this is a loss on several levels. Contacting Amazon is a nightmare, but i'll do it anyway. Disappointed that such a great product is such poor quality.

Excellent product Buy elsewhere
This product has made a world of difference in how my aging maine coon cat can walk and jump, Its well worth a try but I strongly urge you to purchase elsewhere where their business practices are honest which is not the case here. I am not in the habit of round up fractions to profit my own business I dont expect it form another vendor!

Hoping this works...
This was recommended to us by the Vet for my elderly cat and I have been using for about 3 months. My cat will not (can not?) eat the capsule, so I open and squeeze out, which is not easy. (If you have same issue, find the side seam of the capsule, and using a pin, make several punctures and squeeze out). She's finicky, so sometimes she'll lick it up and sometimes not. I will continue to use for at least another 3 months to see if there is improvement. It is totally worth it to me if it helps her joints and mobility.

Not a fresh product
I believe this is a good product and I do see a slight difference in my cat's ability to walk. However, the first product I received from Veterinary Products Direct was just three months away from expiration. I expect to receive a product that is much fresher than that, especially when it's the same price as any other retailer. The second product I received was the same. Received in October, expires in January. I will not order from them again.

Antinol is like magic.
This medicine is like magic. Our older (14+ yrs) female kitty, had grown too heavy from inactivity and was hurting too much to move. Now after nearly a month of dosing, she is able to jump up on a hassock. We no longer see her little legs tremble with pain. Her mood is so much improved - not so crabby! This improvement began in 2 weeks - from the first dose we purchased from the local vet. I ordered more from this seller and it just arrived. I am so grateful for this new medication to help our kitty.

Great Product for my cat
My senior cat has been on Antinol 1x day for a couple of years and he is doing great! Prior to starting it he couldn't walk very far, climb stairs and walked with a very hunched back but now..... he climbs stairs, can walk pretty quickly and does not look like he is hurting any more. Terrific Product!! and has given him a much better quality of life.
