So, I liked the look of the Beti hooper 30, but not the ridicules price of $300.(After all, I'm not going to live in Death Valley)I wanted something with the looks and not the steep price.I looked all over Amazon and found this. It's just what I was looking for.At $84.00, the price wasn't too bad but, it's more of a $35.00 cooler.Did an Ice test with two large ice packs, left the cooler inside my car with the windows cracked. (started test at 7:30am)Ice packs were solid throughout a sunny day of about 77F outside and probably about 87F inside the carThe Ice packs still had a small amount of Ice left, but very little at 9:30 pm. ( you may be able to get two days if you leave this in the shade)The zipper seems less rugged then the other brand but, it opens a lot easier- ( I will test their "leak proof" claim- stay tuned)The side pockets open easy and having them on both sides is a nice touch. :)It's a bit larger then the pictures but, not a deal breaker. (It's just a bit smaller then the 30 which I find too big)I do wish it had some side handles and maybe even some D-rings on both sides.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. (I will update this review after a year of rigorous adventure}

This cooler bag is the perfect size for day trips. I didn't want something bulky/big nor too small. You can fit ice and quite a few drinks and that's what I wanted. That said, I knew going in that this bag is not perfect. It obviously has no carrying straps aside from the shoulder strap. Aside from that it is exactly what I wanted. Just based off feel, it has approximately 1" foam insulation to bottom and sides. Nothing up top. Zippers are high quality. The top zipper is tough to zip but not bad for a water resistant zipper. I did not receive the tube of lube like in the product picture. I wouldn't even know what kind of lube to buy...silicone? The base is nice and stable and the bag resists tipping over. Every seam is welded and I could not find any defects in manufacture. The shoulder strap is very high quality.Any performance or durability comments will have to wait.Wish list: side handle straps, accessory attachment loops, zipper lubeAlternatives: check out the yodo 13L cooler bag.

Really wish I hadn’t ordered. I would love to ask for my money back. Used it this past Sat and Sun for approximately 4 hours each day. Mostly cloudy and all rain on Sat. This cooler does not hold ice any better than any other cooler I have ever owned and it’s not user friendly at all. Difficult to pack and get ice into not to mention it does not hold nearly the amount you would think it should in addition to ice. I packed it so full of ice I barely got to put 6 water bottles in it and the ice was all water after 4 hours on a gloomy day. I had high hopes for this cooler and really expected to like it. Immediately after packing it I felt like I had to defend it against my wife and children’s claims of not user friendly.

Access is challenging for large items like 2L.

Does not fit products at all well. Zipper small handle came off making the zipper unusable and cannot be repaired without some form of weld to the zipper loop on the bag itself. (Not feasible). Does not press down for packing. I was ripped off as far as I am concerned and you will be too if you buy it. A definite “do not purchase”.
