As soon as I connected this cable, from a much cheaper cable, the difference was instant. Sound stage was much wider and more separated. Good price, quick delivery. Would buy again.

I was as sceptical about the benefits of an expensive optical cable reading zero's and one's better than another more reasonably priced item as you are dear reader. However, I can now categorrically state that if the equipment you are connecting and your supplied ears are up to the task that this cable is the clean window you are looking for. Between A CD player transport and a decent DAC, the improvements to every aspect of the sound were clear (pun intended) and obvious over the £20 item that preceded it even to my old treble challenged ears. Turned a muddy sounding relic of a CD player into a valuable reference device. Couldn't be more chuffed with this result.

Thought about this for a while as it's not cheap,, had been using a 25 year old qed cable,, boy what a difference been playing all my cd collection like I'm hearing them for the first time , every little detail can be heard,, stereo imaging, vocals bass everything is spot on worth every penny , highly recommended,,

Ok I own up. I wrote the review for the RCA interconnect by mistake. That is a very good bit of wire but this great. The second best value upgrade I have ever made. (Acoustic panels were the best) Brought the RCA's on the back of this purchase. Really very, very, good. And great value. Buy without hesitation but you may need a revealing system to get the benefit.

These optical leads are worth the bit extra compared to qed performance leads more feeling and more natural

On the one hand, the QED suffers from heavy plugs, which are unstable on the fragile toslink jacks. In addition, the stubborn cable sheath still pulls on the plug, so it's simply bad fit. The fit of the Toslink plug itself could be betterOn the other hand, the build quality is already very good and the price-performance ratio is quite reasonable. Overall, the cable has a high quality effect.If the cable had shorter, lighter plugs and a softer coat, it would be perfect. As it is, I can't fully recommend it.

I purchased this digital optical cable more to help reduce the mess behind my 8 box system of Cyrus HiFi.I have not used this type of connector before and was very disappointed to find that the connections do not hold in well, the slightest pressure from the other cabling and the connection is lost, seems a very poor design, used the phono cables again, much sturdier.More of a problem with the units than the cable, but not satisfactory.As such a waste of money except that I asked for a refund.

Meine persönliche Erfahrung: Das QED Optical Quartz spielt im Vergleich zu den optischen Kabeln anderer anerkannter Hersteller recht warm und analog, ist also eine besonders gute Wahl für Audio-Ketten, die sonst eher dünn, klinisch sauber und über analytisch klingen.War für meine Kette genau das richtige.

Construcción impecable, en cuanto a sonido no creo que los cables hagan mucho llegados a una calidad básica, pero con este cable tengo que afirmar que se ha notado en mi equipo. A ver si va a ser verdad que los cables importan...

Heel duidelijk verschil hoorbaar met goedkopere kabels gewoon proberen niet goed gewoon terug sturen maar gegarandeerd dat zal niet hoeven.

Deutliche Klangverbesserung im Vergleich zum Oehlbach XXL. Breitere Bühne, präziserer und entspannterer Klang. Ich verwende ihn zwischen einem Bluesound Node 2 und einem DA 2 integrierten DAC. Klang sehr ausgewogen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
