SAMSUNGGalaxy S7 G930 GSM Unlocked Smartphone Black Onyx

UPDATE 4/3/21: Phone stopped flickering unless it has been charged to 100% and left on the charger. However, now it has developed fits of black screen. The screen goes black, which makes answering calls, reading texts, or anything you use the screen to do totalky impossible. And just about the time I decide to switch to another phone, it stops. It will be fine for a couple of weeks, then, out of nowhere, the screen inexplicably goes black. SO FRUSTRATING. If it wasn't such a pain to set up another phone, I would have ditched this one a long time ago.UPDATE 1/19/21The flickering of the screen has become unbearable. It helps to keep the phone set to negative colors and it doesn't flicker on all apps (texts-yes, phone-yes, browser-yes) just the most importantly ones. I am going to have to give it up and get another phone.I miss my J7Purchased 2 S7's on 8/2/2020After I drowned my 2 year old J7, which I absolutely LOVED, mainly because of it's amazingly long battery life, I chose to replace two phones from our plan with two of these. The other one replaced a 3 year old S7 that had begun to have battery life, charging, and touch screen issues.1. The phones came in original packaging with lightning chargers, charging cords, and earbuds, as well as the quick start guides. They were both charged to about 40%.2. Inserting SIM and Memory cards (No, 32GB is not enough - my only complaint about the J7) go smoothly. They came with instructions on how to add your network provider's information and that was no problem at all. Despite the fact that I am definitely not tech-savy, I sailed right through setting them both up.3. Personalization, adding accounts and transferring old data to new phones - all easily accomplished.After all this we are pretty dang pleased..... for a while.Before a month was up I started noticing: A. the battery life is NO WHERE NEAR that of my J7 - could be the J7 was superior instead of this one being inferior to the average battery life B. my screen flickering, especially bad after charging is complete, and C. I have noticed little odd occurrences that make it seem this phone was used before, which is fine, I just thought ALL information would be deleted from this phone, including the setting for the language & country - it thinks it's in Canada. I sure don't know how to change it.As for the other S7, no complaints from the person using it, so I must assume its fine.The take-away: My S7 : I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. It may end up being great, but I'm a little concerned about the flickering screen & battery life.The other S7: So far so good, I have more faith in this phone than the one I use.Will I be surprised if the both die within the next year? Not really. And we got a great deal on them if they last.So I'm going to stay middle of the road on my review. They may end up being great phones, but signs of possible future problems make me wary.

It came in perfect state and works perfectly.The only thing that dissatisfy is the fact that is a specific Android for AT&T, whose configuration does not offer the option of Portuguese language.

I refuse to pay 1000 for a new latest and greatest phone. I loved this model and when mine could no longer function, I went with this. Its sitting next to me now and I still love it.

Random power resets, running extremely hot. I was told by a cell phone repair place that most likely the motherboard that is damaged. I will never buy refurbished ever again....

I bought this phone for my husband, after going through the review of previous customer they complaint that it stopped working and I must confess that their review is correct. The phone work for one year then one day it just turned off and no matter what we did it never turns back on so please don't be like me if you are looking for a phone that will last over a year look somewhere else.

This is a great phone completely unlocked to work on any gsm carrier by far the best phone ive ever had was in perfect working condition and the screen was flawless would recommend this seller to anyone i was very pleased with this transaction!

FIRSTLY it functions. Data, talk, text no problems after setting it up properly. BUT my device was a sprint phone, they have their own activation system in place on the phone EVEN WHEN UNLOCKED that will try to activate the phone using exclusively the sprint network. There is no way to bypass this aside from having a sprint account holder call sprint up, and have them activate the phone. Like i said, phone will still work. but you will have a process eating your battery in the background until you call them up. (My experience at least)

My Samsung Galaxy S6 lasted 3 years and lately the touchscreen was not working properly so I decided to faithfully replace it with another Samsung Galaxy phone. As of April 2018 the latest phone is the S9 but I didn't want to spend ~$1000 just to have the latest tech gadget. It didn't take much research to learn that the change from S6 to S7 is an improvement in battery capacity, RAM, and water resistance; however, the change from S7 to S8 or S9 is minor and in specifications I don't care about for the price (such as camera resolution). I'm happy with the savings and more importantly I don't feel anything left to be desired. This phone functions without issues with current apps.My phone arrived brand new, in factory packaging, and is unlocked as promised. I have had no issues transitioning my old SIM card from Freedom mobile.

J'adore mon nouveau Samsung 7 acheté comme un produit déjà ouvert avec légère marque d'usure. Lors de la réception, j'ai été magnifiquement surprise de voir que l'appareil n'avait à mes yeux aucun signe d'usure. Je n'aurais pas pu faire de différence entre le produit neuf et celui déjà sorti de la boîte. Lors de l'achat (ici sur amazon) plusieurs vendeurs avaient ce produit notant la qualité de l'appareil. J'avais le choix entre 2 téléphones ayant la même cote d'usure mais à un prix légèrement différent. J'ai préféré prendre celui au prix légèrement supérieur pour m'assurer que j'aurais entre les mains un produit qui allait avoir un état d'allure plus neuf. J'ai été récompensé par mon choix!Ne venait pas avec un boitier et une vitre protectrice, je m'en suis donc procuré un à part.La recharge est très rapide. C'est un aspect vraiment intéressant. Elle ne décharge pas trop rapidement comparativement à un autre appareil intelligent que j'ai eu dans le passé. Évidemment, si on doit passer vraiment beaucoup de temps sur le téléphone à utiliser les applications, il est clair que la batterie se déchargera très rapidement.Plus complexe que mon dernier appareil, mais on arrive à s'y retrouver malgré tout très rapidement. I bought this product in July and I must say for the price it was quite the bargain. Item came partially as described (I'll explain this later), and arrived on time. I use it religiously and haven't come into any big issues as of yet. My only few concerns is that there's unusual battery drainage for moderate/conservative use (I maybe get 4-5 hours of serious use until I have to recharge, if I use it conservatively it lasts me good 8-9 hours). Also, the charger/adapter that came in the box with it doesn't allow me to view files from my HP computer (It will charge, though. Small fix, I ended up having another charger that did the job). In addition to that, the seller says the item is a SM-G930W8 (Bell Canada), but what I actually got was a SM-G930U (US Unlocked). Not complaining though since this indeed worked with my sim card! Overall, pleased with this phone and again, at this price I WOULD buy another phone!

I've had previous S samsung phones and had no problem with the camera. However the camera in this model does not focus properly, actually in some cases doesnt focus at all, which makes the pictures look blurry.It seems that this is a common problem on S6, S7 and S8 models.After spending many hours watching videos on youtube, updating the android software, changing settings and even shaking my phone (Not too hard of course) the camera now focuses. But I am afraid that it might not focus again.
