Polarizing Handle
Only had one work travel with it but quite impressed so far given the price paid. My first "slim" laptop bag and I really appreciate it's minimal form. Goes under seat of a plane easily and provides more feet room than my old bag. Will probably never go back to conventional backpack.Pros:As stated, minimal form. The rectangular shape fits well for airplane under seat storage.Good number of compartments for laptop, devices, cords, stationary, battery pack (my typical work travel allotment).Decently padded shoulder straps that's contoured with S shape to help from riding outward when worn. Advertised as "breathable" straps but I don't know about that.Smooth zippers (not the best but good).Seems well built with strong and water repellent exterior fabric, well padded within compartments for shock absorption, good amount of stitching without any frays... but time will tell of its true longevity.Cons:That aluminum handle. Some will love it, some will hate it, thus polarizing. I'm actually not a big fan as it is quite large relative to the size of the bag itself. It does make it easier to grab and go but seems a bit overkill to me. The aluminum also makes it stand out and is a design clash for my taste. I would've preferred a fabric handle. I see now that there bags identical to this one with a fabric top handle. Doesn't bother me enough for an exchange however. No side pockets. I kept things like headphones in the side pocket without a zipper of my old bag. This provided easy access for these things without having to fuss with a zipper.Polyester exterior feels rough to the touch. Not an real issue unless you wear this thing shirtless.Minimal profile means minimal room. I did manage to squeeze in my light jacket. I do not like trudging through the airport carrying a jacket, laptop bag and dragging a carry-on luggage. I put a light jacket in the laptop bag for easy access as planes can get cold in flight. It made this bag look overstuffed. While appearance isn't an issue for me, it's the concern that I'm putting extra stress on the zippers that could lead to premature failure. It's just a little too tall to lay it down sideways under seat (unless you steal a bit of room from the seat next to you).Overall, a great deal on a mostly well designed laptop bag. Brand is Covax, shown only in a little white tag on the side that touches your back. I like that it isn't branded everywhere. Looks identical to the Lenovo bag sold by Amazon but that bag has the fabric handle (oh well, perhaps next time).

Slim-Profile, Minimalist Compact Laptop Bag, under 7 lbs average packed
Fantastic buy for a student running about campus and town. Small, but forced me to be measured and not carry junk. Has room for everything I need.Got this backpack because I liked the look and really wanted a minimalist, ultra-light bag that I could carry my essentials in for college. I usually grow to the room of my backpack and carry a bunch of stuff I don't need, so this bag definitely places a comfortable limit.I comfortably carry my 15.6 Precision 5510 Laptop, a notebook or two, graphing calculator, phone and laptop charger, and other small miscellaneous items. Can stuff my large headphones and maybe a jacket in as well, putting any water bottle bigger than a small disposable one in it may be too much. I could probably carry all of the additional items, but nothing more and the backpack would be stuffed. The laptop compartment just perfectly fits my laptop, which is very compact for a 15.6 laptop so definitely check if your model will fit in it. The middle compartment also has two pockets and two pen slots. One of the pockets is big enough for my calculator, the other I can't really keep anything but additional pens in. The front slot is just a deep pouch down the backpack with no internal pockets, so it may be worth putting an organizer in there.Very easy to carry, love the metal handle, which feels great if a little thin. The handle picks up small scratches fairly easily but is fantastic to hold the bag with. For water bottles: I use a larger hydro flask than won't fit in the pouch anyways so the lack of a water bottle pouch was alright - I used a double carabineer S-hook and some cord to attach to my bottle, and I clip it on and off.Fully packed: about 8 lbs, under 7 lbs most days. About 5 inches wide. Perfect as long as you know you travel light.

It's awesome.
From outside to the part worn on the back, it is built as such: zipper pocket, pen and misc pockets with more room, and a 2 compartment laptop section with a padded divider. They have considerable volume, especially with the zipper pocket, even though the bag is pretty compact. The zipper pulls are thick and large, along with plastic zipper teeth that are a decent size for the weight they need to manage. The sewing of the straps onto the body of the bag seems good. The part that touches your back is a basic fabric, with no outside padding or other features on it or the straps. However, there is some foam padding maybe 3/8" or 1/2" thick between the laptop and your back. There is a handle on top that is pretty much a fabric school bag handle, but has fabric sleeves that hide the fabric and transition to the aluminum handle. That part is pretty cool.Overall, there seems to be no deficiency and you can carry a bunch of electronic accessories in the outside section without much trouble. The build quality is in excess of what's required to handle the expected load. I love this bag, for the few times I've used it.
