My husband and have a fully equipped kitchen and we love to cook so we were excited to get this knife! Our little collection needed updating. I love the feel of the knife, it's balanced with a little heft but it doesn't tire out my hand to use it. It's got a beautiful design too and fantastic wooden box packaging. Damascus blade is of a very high quality, you can easily see it. The best feature of this knife of course is it's sharpness. It cuts through everything like through a soft stick of butter. My husband and I definitely think this is the best knife we own, we are pretty impressed! Well worth the money for sure!

I ordered the 'Premium Damascus Chef Knife - Best 8-inch Chef Knife Professional - Japanese Damascus Steel VG-10 Knife 67 Layers - Forged Carbon Steel Chef Knife - Extra Sharp Full Tang Wood Handle Chef Knife' for review.I have been on a quest to upgrade my kitchen knives and I am infatuated with Damascus so I had to get this one. When it arrived I was immediately impressed by the presentation and the beautiful wood box (See attached images). Upon opening the box I was again impressed by the looks and design of this knife. It was when I took the knife out of the box and held it that I was a bit disappointed as the weight of it did not match the looks of it, if that makes sense. The balance feels off as the knife itself seems thin and not enough weight to it. Just to be clear, I am no expert. I am just an average Joe that loves good quality knives. With that said, this is a beautiful knife and it's very sharp. Overall I love this knife and almost feel that it is too pretty to to actually use in the kitchen haha. The Sandalwood handle is absolutely gorgeous. The knife as a whole is beautifully crafted. The box is very nice although I will most likely use some mineral oil on it as there does not seem to be any sealant on it and I think the oil will really bring out the wood grain and hopefully protect it. The included solid brass saxophone key-chain is a nice little bonus although I probably won't use it and just keep it in the box with the knife. I hope that this was helpful.

I haven't used such a great knife in a while. It is very solid, but doesn't feel heavy. In fact, the handle is designed in such a way that it fits many different types of hands. Both my partner and I (who have hands of very different shape and size) feel like the knife was designed especially for us. Now that we have this knife, all our vegetables come out in perfect thin slices. The knife was packaged in a beautiful wooden box, and would make a great gift. This purchase reminded me of the importance of a high quality knife!

Beautiful knife. Edge does not last long and first time I sharpened it the edge chipped AWAY ! I now own a serrated Damascus knife.

Was not as per my expectation.

I have only owned this knife for a short time but it is already my favorite. I love the balance & feel of the handle in my hand. Makes me look like a pro in the kitchen as I make quick work of everything, veggies, fruit, meats, etc. This perfect multi-purpose knife performs well at many differing kitchen tasks, rather than excelling at any one in particular. Great for for mincing, slicing, and chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and disjointing large cuts. A raindrop Damascus pattern and beautiful packaging makes it also a perfect birthday or housewarming gift. 5 stars!

You Won't Be Disappointed!I've never really had a preference for knives until I used this knife! I was amazed at how cool and comfortable the handle is. The blade is incredibly sharp and easy to clean. This knife has a great feel in the hand and the overall balance of the knife is awesome. This is one of the best Chef knives I've ever used! My favorite purchase this year that I really want to advise you!
