We love that they charge by the bottom and not by the mini USB port on the top. The last charging dock we had came with dongles that plugged into the USB ports and the controllers sat upside down on the dock. We lost the dongles so often that we needed to find a different way to charge the controllers.The controllers charge faster than by USB. The indicator lights are nice because at a glance we can tell if the controllers are charged or need a bit longer. The kids can easily put the controllers on and take them off (after some instruction). They don't take up a lot of room.A weird thing that happens sometimes is after putting a second controller on the dock, the second light comes on red but the first controller's light turns green as if it is done charging, which can't be right. They both still charge, it's just odd that one light changes.They each came with a USB cable, but not a wall adapter. I think the idea is to plug them into the PlayStation, but the way we have ours in the tv stand, there isn't room for that configuration. No big deal for us as we had a multi-USB wall plug and that works great.Overall we are really pleased with this charger!

best multi controller charger out there. this does not require any adapters at all. you just drop your controller on the port, and give it a little push down to secure. it uses the EXT PORT to charge the controller so it stands properly as It charges. also the screen on the front tells you when its charging and when its fully charged.I'm slightly nervous about the quality. it's very lightweight and feels fragile. I did drop it after takin it out of the package, as it was more slippery than expected.even so I would buy this again in the future, assuming it lasts more than a year.

Simple and working, although I used a longer cable so I could place the stand further away from the PS4. It's a little snug on the controller with a grip on it but still charging it.My other controller was already fully charged so the chip doesn't allow it to be over charged, really like that feature. Even if they don't need charging they look nice in the stand.

I love this charging dock!!

firstly, if i knew that this charging station uses the extension port to charge, i would have ordered one a long time ago. typically, the micro usb port on the controller becomes unusable over time. it will no longer charge the controller due to wear and tear on the fitting of the female and male pieces. this charging station uses the extension port on the controller to charge. the extension port is the one below the joysticks.secondly, it is quite effective at charging the controller. however, i do not have charge times to provide, but the time does not exceed an hour. i have two controllers and switch them in and out as needed. my setup is such that i have an old micro usb android phone charger plugged into the charging station, and not the ps4. this works out nicely.the only minor drawback is the insertion of the controllers when charging. it is designed such that the controllers must be set in at an odd angle. well, at least for me anyway, the angle is much steeper than i would expect it to be. whether inserting or removing the controller, it is awkward and not quite so simple. however, you get used to it. other than that, this charging station is well worth the price i paid for it (13.98 united states dollars).

Hallelujah! I just plugged my controllers in so I don’t know what the lifespan of this product is, but my controllers had completely stopped charging. We went through 8 or 9 charging cables in the past 3 years. This seems to be a far superior way to charge. I may wait a few days before I tell my 12 year old the controllers are up and running again though.

This product works well, but could be much better. When I try to put the controller on the charger, you can’t help but hit buttons and often turn the system back on. Also, the green LED indicating charge status stay on all the time. It turns red while charging but when there is no controller in the charger the green light is on. I have a charger for my XBox One controllers that allows you to set the controller in a ‘cradle’ then push down the cradle to charge. While it is charging a red LED indicates charging. When it turns green, you push the cradle down and it takes the controller off the charger in a full charge capacity, you never hit any of the buttons on the controller accidentally during this process.

Charged both my controllers in no time. Not bulky so sits nicely next to tv. USB charging so it can be plugged into any USB port. At the time of purchase this was cheaper than the older version (it may still be). No more 2 / 3 meter cable to charge up 😊
