This is not the Glutamine Select by Beverly International... if it is, there is a serious consistency issue with their product... It took me ordering another container of the Wild Berry flavor to catch the glaring discrepancies.First, the containers are different sizes, the scoopers and the scoop size is different (see attached photos). The consistency of the powder is noticeably finer in the authentic product, which mixes cleanly without foaming up.This product (the counterfeit Black Cherry version) was gritty, it also frothed up a lot when shaken. Almost like soap suds or beer foam. I thought it was caused by the collagen I added, but the original Wild Berry Glutamine Select and the same collagen product did not have that foam-creating effect. No foam, actually.As for the taste, well, I just noticed another 1-star rating on this product, expressing great concern over any product containing "Neotame" a cousin to Aspartame and certainly a controversial ingredient in a health and wellness product. That said, this counterfeit version seemed to taste tangier and better (so do most diet sodas by the way) but at what cost?I made the mistake of going for the low price and bought what turned out to be a fake product. How can this product exist on Amazon for so long without someone else noticing too?Buyer beware should be applied to Amazon, more than ever now!Could this be one of the purported Amazon-anti-trust scams, where they create a competing product -- or in this case a counterfeit product at a significantly lower price point -- then give that item top-placement on search results to slurp up more profits at the expense of the companies that already spend a handsome fee for the pleasure of doing business under Amazon. I hope not.

I absolutely love Berverly International Supplements and have ordered the Wild Berry Glutamine Select and absolutely loved it - it had a slightly sweet berry flavor. I decided to order the Black Cherry flavor to change it up, and it is absolutely terrible - no sweetness, just a tart, bitter flavor. What in the world? The only thing I can think of is that I ordered from a different seller, or maybe this isn't a real BI product. I went back and ordered Wild Berry from the same trusted seller, but either the product is off or the flavor is really just this terrible.

When I bought this, I was also awaiting my blender bottle. I just stopped by to tell you for the love of Pete, do not put this in a cocktail shaker. None of the parts would come apart after I used the cocktail shaker to mix this. I had to throw it away. Other than that, it's a good product and I really like it.

This is the best BCAA Glu I have ever tasted. In addition when I use it all muscle soreness is gone. It's actually strange, I can do the same workout with and without Glutamine Select and without I get DOMS but with it I don't. I guess it's working.

My personal trainer recommends using only the Beverly International brand for creatine and glutamine and I understand why. I put two scoops of gultamine and about 1/2 scoop creatine in my 24 oz water bottle and drink it during my workout. It mixes into water well, tastes good and most importantly, helps my performance and endurance throughout the workout. I used to buy it elsewhere but now the price on Amazon is very competitive and with Prime free shipping, you can't to better. Highly recommended!

My car was rear-ended and I had a serious head injury. I lost my memory so they gave me Aracept and it gave me a bleeding ulcer. I had read about Glutamine curing ulcers so I tried about 5 different brands. Beverly powder is great. It took the pain away in a day or so. It healed the ulcer but I keep taking it because their is no "heart burn" or "acid reflux" disease in my life as long as I take Beverly Powder and I love the Cherry flavor. Solgar L Glutamine stopped the pain of the ulcer too but not one other brand helped me but Beverly and Solgar. The rest were WORTHLESS in my opinion. You have to be careful when you purchase Glutamine because so many of them are absolutely useless. If you are taking some odd brand and still have heartburn at night then you know the brand is useless. I purchase 3 Beverly Powders and they are delivered every three months from amazon and no shipping on automatic delivery. I love amazon automatic delivery.
