Marutai Kyusyu Speciality Kagoshima Berkshire Black Pork Tonkotsu Ramen 3 package set

I'm not exactly a flavor connoisseur - so I can't break down what I'm getting from this. But it's good!I went looking for alternative Tonkotsu flavored ramen after my go-to dropped out of stores. After some reading around I found this (and other flavors in this line).I admittedly did not do this on a stove top - as I specifically wanted to see if I'd be able to eat this at work using a microwave. In my experience - it would have tasted even BETTER if I had done the stove top directions.The directions are... not in english. Google Lens translate is great for this, but, honestly? It's ramen. You heat some water, cook it, add flavor and eat. It's not complicated.The noodles are nice and silky. The smell that hit me once opening and adding the flavor packets was intense and mouth watering. And here's where I fall short in explaining the taste. It's GOOD, has a meaty and ... creamy? flavor to it. Maybe a bit of a vegetable flavor as well? Again, not my forte. I may have added too much water which may have diluted the taste a bit.The packet does have two servings, meaning that each meal (as the price stands right now) is 3$. Which is a LITTLE more expensive than my previous go-to tonkotsu ramen.Doesn't mean this is any less tasty! YUM!

Thankfully not overly salty like the 33 cent instant ramen found on common grocery shelves. The Marutai ramen has a great taste but not as much umami at my favorite noodle house. Understandable as they charge $20 a bowl and take days to prepare the broth. But nonetheless had a great meal adding a cut-up pork chop, green onions, bean sprouts, and all important chili oil. The convenience alone is worth the $2.50 price tag and will order again. Packaging is OK and my ramen was shipped in an un-padded envelope. Arrived in good condition.Not sure the cooking instructions but a YouTuber stated to add the noodles to 2 cups boiling water. Then add one each flavor packet and stir noodles for 2.5-3 minutes. Presto.. dinner is served.

I understand the hype now I purchased the 3 pack @ $21 a while it's expensive it is in fact 6 servings so not terrible if you compare the peru unit price. I've been on the hunt for a good Ramen noodles and so far this is my favorite. 😍 its not overly salty nor spicy though imtend to use 1 oacket for multple servings. I ofcourse add red pepper 🌶 flakes to it.You may be tempted to think the 1 serving is not enough when you 1st open it but don't be fooled it's good for 1 person. Reminder each packet has 2 servings of noodles, sauce/powder & oil. I had to translate and since no pics are included in the reviews anywhere I've added them here for anyone else hunting for it.From there I just added eggs, scallions, seaweed and a bit of spinach.It won't gomin a subscribe and save for me but will reorder "when the mood hits me:". Very convenient cook option.

Like everyone says, yes, each pack contains two sets of ramen noodles and two sets of seasonings.One serving was plenty for a personal meal in my own option.The broth was delicious and the noodles were round untextured and silky.Would buy again.

This ramen is extremely delicious and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy/try ramen that is new to them. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this specific ramen is. 100% worth the price, and this is the best instant ramen I have had. This instant ramen is actually better than most you could get at an actual restaurant.

Great flavor and really nice presentation. It's easy to cook and doesn't take more than 5 minutes. For those interested in ingredients or instructions, I used google translate in the attached image. It's a bit more expensive than the super cheap ramen, but really worth it if you want something approximating legit ramen from a ramen restaurant. Much better than ramen you'd get at a random Chinese/Thai restaurant. It has solid garlic and pork flavor, which is hard to come by.

I love that its separated into two servings. The flavor is like a good ramen restaurant and this stuff is the premium stuff in Japan so you know its good. Its all in Japanese so you have to look up how to make it.

Took over 3 months to arrive, but ultimately did and item was as expected.
