... heart and demands a certain level of skill to enjoy but certainly enjoyable
Not for the faint of heart and demands a certain level of skill to enjoy but certainly enjoyable. Long read that demands a birds-eye-view approach to understanding the work as a whole. Probably would recommend reading only when you have a long time to devote to it. Not something you can walk away from and pick back up and take away the same message.

Significant talent
Ms Reines is an exceptionally gifted lyric voice. Apparently first-person confessional. She should have an extraordianry career.

Phenomenal
I highly recommend this collection. Ariana Reines writes honestly and beautifully and is an incredible talented young poet. If you like more experimental forms of poetry, this book is a must-have.

have I loved a poet so much
Not since Lydia Davis, have I loved a poet so much.

I had high expectations reading the other reviews, but ...
I had high expectations reading the other reviews, but this ended up being uninteresting selfindulgent, unmemorable, and a book I didn't even want to finish. (And I finish everything.) Yuck. No thank you.

Cool Cover
This book has a cool cover, but just as well could have been written by Rod McKuen after he read some Madame Blavatsky. Completely unmemorable.
