Somewhat Lightweight "Armored" single mode SM LC-LC fiber data cable. 50ft
I had a couple single mode SFP+ SIP modules and needed an extra run to one of the bedrooms; this cable was inexpensive and fit the bill :-)The armor is a fairly lightweight.. I would not use use this cable in applications that involve much movement, burial, or transportation-based applications. That said, it is plenty durable enough for stationary residential patch cable duty, especially for systems or dropdowns that are not being moved around often.I am using this in a 5gbps external link residential application; with 10Gbase MMC/LCLC for most of the network; a couple nodes use single-mode (only because i had spare SM materials). Using single-mode fiber is *a bit* overkill for my application but it works great and i have no complaints.

A good fiber cable
This LC fiber cable is good. I learn quickly that I need a armored fiber cable for my cats not to chew on the cable. This cable has been taking abuse from my office door and it is still working fine without any issues. Length is accurate when ordering. No data loss and I am able to transfer without any issues.

Very well built duplex fiber cable
This singlemode duplex LC fiber cable from Cable Matters has some special features and is well built. The first thing you notice when unpacking this is the weight. That extra weight is the metal armor under the black jacket. Amazing to have armor at this diameter. The jacket on this is UV stabilized and rated LSZH-FR (Low Smoke Zero Halogen - Fire Retardant) which is important depending where this is run in the building. And finally, the Uniboot. Love the uniboot, they are so much cleaner looking and help this cable assembly protect the fiber even better. Ran this from a data outlet to my rack in the basement for a 10g link with no problems.

Might be ok, but I wasn't able to get a stable link through this.
I tested this with two Soloda SL-85-192-M3 SFP adapters and I was not able to get a connection. I had activity lights, and it would connect and drop over and over. It's possible that the SFP adapters are the issue. They are new, but I have not had them in a working setup yet. I got this cable to test those adapters, and was unable to get any of it to work. The SFP adapters were accepted by my server's intel NIC, and by the router, so it seems like a link problem and not a confi problem. I will test with other cables and update this review in the future.
